Negotiation이란 사전적 의미로는 "교섭 또는 상의"의 뜻이나
국제무역에 있어서는 일반적으로 물품을 선적 후 신용장에 명시된
제반 서류를 갖추어 외국환은행에 제출 후 환어음을 매각하고
수출 대금을 받는 행위, 즉 환어음과 선적서류와 상환으로
수출대금을 회수하는 절차를 말합니다.
