hobnob 〔ｈ´ａｂｎ｀ａｂ〕 사이좋게(허물없이) 지내다, 환담
The purpose of this party is ostensibly to celebrate our fifteenth year
in business. However, our real aim is just to gather some of the more
important people who have supported us over the years so that we can
express our appreciation and enjoy meeting in a warm, friendly
atmosphere. The occasion will also permit our people to meet many of
our benefactors who they seldom have a chance to meet in the course of
their day-to-day activities.
이 모임의 목적은 명목상으로는 저희 회사 창업 15주년을 축하하는 것입니다
만, 실제로는 지금까지 여러해 동안 신세를 진 중요한 분들께 감사의 마음을
전하고, 여러분과 화기애애한 분위기속에서 즐겁게 환담을 나누고자 하는데 있
습니다.
저희 사원들이 평소 많은 신세를 졌지만 만날 기회가 없었던 분들과 자리를 함
께 할 수 있는 좋은 기회가 될 것으로 생각합니다.

I have asked Mr. Myung-joon Kim, President, Seoul Motor Co., to make a
short speech on behalf of our guests. Mr. Kim has been a valued friend
and advisor to me for over 20 years. I think his words will echo the
sentiments of all our supporters. The idea is to structure the
reception so that we will have more time for social interaction.
I do hope that you will be able to spare the time to share this
occasion with us.
서울 자동차사의 김영준사장님께 내빈을 대표해서 간단히 몇말씀 해주십사하고
부탁드렸습니다. 김사장님께서는 지난 20여년동안 저의 귀중한 친구이자 고문
역할을 해오셨습니다. 그분의 연설은 저희가 신세지고 있는 여러분의 마음을
잘 대변해 주리라 생각합니다. 부디 시간을 내시어 이 파티에 참석해 주셨으면
합니다.
