agammaglobulinaemia (무감마글로불린 혈증) 혈액내에 모든 종류의 면역글로부린이 없는
상태.

blood urea nitrogen (혈액요소성질소, 혈액내 요소질소)

carotenemia (카로틴혈증) 혈액내에 과도한 카로틴이 존재하는 것으로 피부, 점막 등에 황달
을 닮은 색소 침착을 일으킨다.

filariasis (사상충증) 필라리아(사상충)가 체내에 들어가 생기는 병. 림프계, 혈액내, 조직 등
여러 곳에 감염된다.

hemophilus (헤모필루스, 헤모필루스속) 그람 음성. 호기성 혹은 통성 혐기성의
Pasteurellaceae과의 간상 혹은 구간균성 박테리아의 1속으로 가끔 사상체를 형성하는 세포
로 구성되어 있다. 이 세균들은 혈액내에 존재하는 하나 혹은 양성장인자를 필요로 한다. 이
것들은 상부 호흡기도에 정상으로 살고 있으나 원발성 혹은 속발성 병원체가 되기도 한다.
Hemophilus라 쓰기도 한다.

hyperglycemia (고혈당혈증) 혈액내 당분의 비정상적인 증가.

hyperkalemia (고칼륨혈증) 혈액내 칼륨의 비정상적인 높은 농도.

hyperuricemia (과요산혈증) 혈액내 요산 (uric acid)의 양이 비정상적인 것으로서 주로 통풍
과 관련되며, 다른 여러 질환에서도 발견된다. excess of uric acid or urates in the blood;
it is a prerequisite for the development or gout and may lead to renal disease. Called
also uricacidaemia and, formerly, lithemia.

platelet aggragating factor (혈소판 응집 요소, 혈소판 악화 인자, 혈소판 악화요인) 면역
글로부린 E에 감광된 호염기구 (basophil)에서의 항원 반응에 의해 혈액내에 생성된 물질로
서 혈소판을 응집시키며, 염증을 유발시킨다.

thrombocytopenia (혈소판 감소증) 혈액내 혈소판의 숫자가 감소하는 것.

thrombocytosis (혈소판 증다증) 말초 혈액내의 혈소판 수의 증가.

TSH (갑상선 자극호르몬) 뇌하수체 전엽에서 분비되며 갑상선 세포의 성장과 호르몬
-thyroxine-의 분비를 촉진한다. 200개 내지 300개의 아미노산으로 구성되며 갑상선 세포에
도달하면 그 세포막에 존재하는 adenylate cyclase에 작용하여 cAMP를 형성한다. 이것의
작용으로 thyroglobulin이 가수분해하여 T3, T4로 혈액내로 유리된다.
