The postal system became an avenue for bio-terrorism.
Often fatal viruses sent in letters resulted in the deaths of innocent people.
Such attacks are just one reason why we should seriously consider permanently shutting down the Postal Service and moving to a purely electronic mail system.
But there are other good reasons for shutting down our old-fashioned system of physically transporting person-to-person letters.
Specifically, continuing to move paper mail around is wastefully inefficient.
Eliminating what has clearly become an old delivery system would put a stop to the millions of dollars the post office loses every year.
We would also conserve precious natural resources, such as trees and water, and eliminate the pollution caused by the manufacture of paper.

Some writers who do not think clearly are inclined to suppose that their
thoughts have a significance greater than at first appears. It is
flattering to believe that they are too profound to be expressed so
clearly that all who run may read, and very naturally it does not
occur to such writers that the fault is with their own minds, which
have not the faculty of precise reflection. It is very easy to persuade
oneself that a phrase that one does not quite understand may mean a
great deal more than one realizes. Fools can always be found to discover
a hidden sense in them.

English grammar is very difficult and few writers have avoided making
mistakes in it. So heedful a writer as Henry James, for instance, on
occasion wrote so ungrammatically that a schoolmaster, finding such
errors in a schoolboy's essay, would be justly indignant. It is necessary
to know grammar, and it is better to write grammatically than not, but it
is well to remember that grammar is common speech formulated. Usage is
the only test. I prefer a phrase that is easy and unaffected to a phrase
that is grammatical.
영문법은 어려워서 잘못을 범하지 않는 작가가 거의 없다. 예를 들어 헨리
제임스처럼 주의 깊은 작가도 국민학교 학생의 작문에서 발견되면 선생님이

as for our deeds. Men forget the horrible thoughts that wander through
their own minds, and are indignant when they discover them in others.

But for three years, a panel of drug experts working for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has been analyzing these medicines to see if they live up to their advertising.
In a report issued recently, the panel concluded that of the 23 major active ingredients of the pills and capsules, only the stimulant caffeine could be considered both safe and effective.
