로 내린 결정에 이의를 제기하는 것은 이해할 수 있다. 변호인단은, 피고인
들의 건강에 무리가 되며, 변론 준비에 시간이 충분하지 못하다고 주장하면
서 재판 일정을 천천히 해줄 것을 요청하더니, 최근에는 갑자기 재판부가
피고인들에게 "편파적"이라고 트집을 잡기 시작했다.

On the first day, I and a co-worker went into the store after work.
Needless to say, everything looked good.
The store was pretty well stocked.
We both took mental notes of things we'd eventually get.
We wisely decided not to buy anything on that day.
We had plenty of time.
We walked around leisurely, eyeing different items.
I said to myself, “Here are some cheap computer games.
That pair of roller blades for $25 looks good, too.
That battery-powered electric shaver could sure come in handy.”
Yes, we were there to see the goods and to plan our purchases for the last day of the sale, when the prices would be really low.
첫날 나와 내 동료는 퇴근 후 그 백화점에 갔다.
말할 것도 없이, 모든 것이 좋아 보였다.
그 백화점은 (물품들이) 아주 잘 갖춰져 있었다.
우리 둘 다 최종적으로 우리가 살 물건들을 머리 속에 기억해 두었다.
우리는 그 날 바로 물건을 사지 말자는 현명한 결정을 내렸다.
우리에게는 충분한 시간이 있었다.
우리는 한가하게 주변을 걸어 다니며 다른 물품들을 구경했다.
나는 “여기에 값 싼 컴퓨터 게임들이 있네.
저 25달러짜리 롤러 블레이드도 정말 좋아 보이는데.
저 배터리 충전용 전기면도기는 확실히 편리할 거 같아.”라고 혼잣말을 했다.
당연히 우리는 물건값이 가장 많이 내려가는 세일 마지막 날 그 상품들을 보고 구매를 계획하기 위해 그 백화점에 있었다.
