→ 낙엽을 굴리는 바람: the wind as it drives the fallen leaves
→ 평야 한복판에 우뚝 솟은 산: the mountain that rises high above the surrounding plain
→ 우리를 둘러싼 아름다움에 우리의 눈을 뜨게 해주다: open our eyes to the wonders and beauties that lie about us
(ANS) Through books our eyes are opened to the beauties of the world which we live in. Bird, bird-song, flower, and tree; the wind as it drives the fallen leaves; the mountain that rises high above the surrounding plain-all these help the poet to bring us into the world of beauty, enriching our lives, and opening our eyes to the wonders and beauties that lie about us.

The South is ready to help the North restructure its farm industry
as a ``fundamental solution'' to its food problem. Noting that the
North's food crisis will never be solved through temporary outside
assistance, Kim said his government would help North Korea improve its
agricultural productivity by supplying it with machinery and equipment.

Q : Doorknocker syndrome

Although we Americans are proud of our high living standards, we should be aware that there are millions of families which do not share this affluence.

Foreigners are amazed by the affluence and luxury of the American way of life.

Visitors from Europe are amazed at the opulence of this country.

Schubert spent his whole life in poverty.
But he had one noble purpose in life.
That was to write down the beautiful musical thoughts which seemed to flow from his brain in an endless rush of melody.
As one of the most productive composers, Schubert wrote music as freely as one would write a friendly letter.
He just produced what was in him, and brought us a rich treasure of music.

Our experience of life comes through our five senses.
Each sense gives us specific and useful information about our physical world.
Imagine for a moment that you didn't have the sense of smell.
How much less rich your world would be.
In our traditional work culture we act as if we have only one sense, either visual or auditory.
Most of us are trained to use one of these two senses as our dominant sense, to the exclusion of our other senses.
Learning to use all your senses is a good way to enrich every moment of your life.

As a nation, the United States has doubled its living standard in the last 50 years.
Now Americans enjoy the fruits of an economy that provides not only basic needs for food, clothing, and shelter but also seemingly limitless luxuries.
If you doubt this, spend some time in other countries; the bountiful and luxurious nature of America's standard of living will be quite apparent.
At no other time in history have Americans experienced such along ride of high living.
The vast majority of people in the United States maintain a standard of living that far exceeds that of other countries.
Yet, notwithstanding such economic growth and material abundance,
the percentage of Americans who rate themselves as very happy has decreased since the 1950s.

Politicians are not the sole sources of a nation's success and grandeur.
There is much more to national enrichment, material and moral, than the people who make its laws and run its institutions of governance.
Those important things depend on other things―habits, mores, customs, values, virtues―that are shaped, vivified, nurtured and husbanded by people often working far from the public arena.

Having lost the sense of hearing and sight, she instinctively developed the other three senses.
She knew her world by smell, touch and taste.
She knew about rain from the smell of the moist earth and about sunshine from the warmth of the air.
Vibrations from a passing truck or footsteps reached her attuned senses and alerted her to her surroundings.
The smell of flowers or food stimulated her vivid imagination and curiosity.
Like few others, she used to the fullest the resources God had given her, and she led a fruitful, rewarding life.

A large part of the influence of money and education on happiness comes
from one's original expectations. If you thought you would earn a lot,
perhaps because of extensive education, and did, you may have a "so what?"
attitude. But if your expectations have been overfulfilled, the happiness
that comes from getting more than you thought you would get can be quite
obvious. Thus the happiest groups are those with little education who
earn a lot; while the highly educated who earn a lot are not so well off psychologically.

Every form of art is good for everyone. It is felt, enjoyed, and
experienced. Theappreciation of art results in a happier feeling and
deeper understanding of other people and the world. Art enriches our
spirit. Reading stories and poetry, for instance, can help us to
understand and improve our own situations. In other words, art is a
creation that lifts our human spirit. Because of art, our lives are
better. The painter, the writer, the musician-all artists contribute to a
better life for everyone.

There are plenty of signs of the growing gap between the information rich and the information poor in our evermore complex, technology driven, so-called information society.
If you do not have access to information of knowledge as a new economic resource, you will be doomed to remain in the underclass of what are otherwise visibly affluent societies.

but it seems that in our time with the structural changes in the post-industrial economy, the lack of these capabilities leaves no feasible alternatives.

But so many of life's mysteries are capable of and await solution, that an obsession with the final mystery seems hardly necessary or justified.

Blue-chip non-audit companies are expected to be able to open their doors to loans due to the expansion of banks' loans, but poor external audit companies are expected to continue to suffer from poverty in abundance, which shows the opposite phenomenon.
