Recently I bought a new car radio from a dealer who recommended it highly.
It proved no better than the one it replaced. I was about to charge into
his store and demand my money back, but it occurred to me to put myself
in his place. Doing this I saw how offended he'd be at having his judgment
questioned. So I took a different tact and appealed to his sense of
self-respect. He exchanged the radio for a much better one, without
charging me the difference in cost. As my grandmother used to say,
"You can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar."

잡을 수 있다."라고 할머니는 늘 말씀하셨다.

다단계 판매(muliti-level marketing : MLM)
네트워크 마케팅이라고도 불리는데, 판매업자가 상대방에게 일정한 이익을 얻을
수 있다고 권유하여 그 권유를 받은 상대방이 일정한 부담을 하는 조건으로 그
권유를 받은 상대방과 동일한 종류의 상품의 판매, 알선 또는 동일한 내용의
용역의 제공에 관한 거래를 하는 것을 말함.
무상표품(generic brand)
포장에 단지 제품의 속성을 나타내는 이름만 붙인 제품을 말한다. 예를 들면,
바깥 포장지에 원두커피, 치약, 소금이라고만 적혀 있는 경우이다. 보통 제조
업자나 판매업자의 이름만 표시됨.
주력상품( 主力商品 : staple product)
메이커와 판매업자가 자기의 경영상 매출액. 이익 등을 고려하여 가장역점을
두는 주축상품을 주력상품이라고 한다.
