Seeking higher returns in the low interest rate era, a growing number
of domestic investors are swarming to newly launched mutual funds.
The rush is prompting asset management firms to set up funds one
after another. Since the nation's first mutual fund, Mirae Asset,
opened in mid-December, six asset management firms have created 15
funds so far, with their combined assets already amounting to some 800
billion won ($683 million).
저금리시대에 고수익을 올리기 위하여 많은 국내투자자들이 새로 설립된
뮤추얼펀드에 몰려들고 있다. 이에 따라 투자자산관리회사들이 펀드를
잇달아 설립하고 있다. 지난해 12월 중순 국내최초로 설립된 뮤추얼펀드인
미래애셋에 이어 지금까지 6개투자기관이 15개의 펀드를 만들었고 이를
합한 총자산은 벌써 약 8조원(6억8천3백만불)에 달하고 있다.
적합한 포트폴리오를 짰다 하더라도 시간이 흐르면 자연스럽게 각 투자자산의 손익에 따라 비율이 변하게 된다.
