정부의 통신비 인하 정책 영향으로 요금 경쟁력을 잃어 수년간 침체에 빠졌던 알뜰폰 시장이 회생할 것이란 기대가 높아지고 있다.

오재호 우리소다라은행 사업지원부장은 "모바일 앱 사용자 수가 1만 5000명을 넘겼다"며 "인도네시아 국민 80∼90%가 선불폰을 쓰고 있는 점을 감안해 모바일 통신비 납부 서비스도 제공하고 있다"고 말했다.
"The number of mobile app users has exceeded 15,000," said Oh Jae-ho, head of Woori Sodara Bank's business support division. "We also provide mobile communication fee payment services considering that 80 to 90 percent of Indonesians are using prepaid phones."
사각지대 발굴시스템에 통신비 체납정보, 건강보험료 부과 정보 등을 추가하고 위기가구 발굴을 위한 신고 의무자에 공동주택 관리주체를 포함하도록 하는 내용 등의 법 개정도 추진된다.
Amendments to the law to be promoted will include adding information on past-due telecommunication bills and the imposition of health insurance premiums to the "blindspot discovery" system and requiring the housing management authority to be included obligated to file a report to discover households in crisis.
