The court is expected to hand down a verdict on the charges of
military mutiny, treason and corruption on Aug. 19, but it is obvious
that the defendants will bring the case to the appellate court for
review. Therefore, the trial will be extended probably to next spring,
when the Supreme Court will pass a final judgment.

and President Kim to call for special legislation to make it possible to
prosecute the military coup leaders and those responsible for the

the appropriate laws had already passed.

Every kind of public work involves desire for some kind of power, unless
it is undertaken solely with a view to the wealth obtainable by corruption.
