운동권학생들을 질책하고 있다.

》 미국의 여러 party의 종류와 차이점을 알고 싶습니다.
→ 우리나라의 party(잔치)와는 근본적으로 개념이 서로 다릅
니다.
▶우리나라는 아는사람끼리 모여 먹고(중요하죠?) 마시고 노
래하고...낯선 사람끼리 서로 모여 서먹서먹해 할까봐 친지
,동창,직장동료,이웃...등등 이처럼 따로 따로 여러차례 파
티(?)를 치루게 되죠.
▶미국은 낯선 사람끼리 만남의 장소로 제공해 주는 듯한 의
미도 다분히 있고 그 파티에서 아주 공식적인 행사 외에는
참석자 서로가 뿔뿔이 각자 행동하죠. 주인공이 적극적으로
나서서 서로를 소개 시켜주지 않는한 아무도 반겨주지 않습
니다. (파티가 삭막할 것 같죠? 먹을것도 별로 없구요,
아마 잘 알지 못하고 우리나라 사람이 서양의 파티에 초대
받고난 후에는 시시하다고 실망을 하게 된다고 하는데....)

초대장을 받은 사람만이 참석 할 수 있습니다.
- coktail ″ : 저녁 식사후 간단한 술과 스넥으로 즐기죠.

I will do my best to reinforce the lecture with as many live examples
as possible. The lectures should give the people attending at least an
idea of the problems concerned, though, of course, application would
require a far more elaborate curriculum as well as time.

I hope this outline is enough for you to proceed with preliminary
matters.
이 강연을 통해 참석자들은 관련 문제점들에 관한 대체적인 내용을 파악할 수
있을 겁니다. 더 자세한 내용을 다루고자 할 경우에는 훨씬 더 많은 시간과 상
세한 커리큘럼이 필요하리라 생각합니다.
The lecture will give the people attending a general idea of the problems
involved. A more thorough coverage would call for a far more elaborate
curriculum as well as time.
이 강연의 목표는 참석자들로 하여금 이러한 문제들이 있다는 것을 깨닫도록
하는 데 있다는 것을 깨닫도록 하는 데 있다는 것을 알아주십시오. 더 심도있
게 내용을 다루려면 상당한 시간이 필요하므로 이 강연에서는 그러한 내용을
다루지 않습니다.
Please understand that the lectures are designed to make the people
attending aware of the problems involved. They do not attempt in-depth
coverage which require much more time.
It would be best if the "viewing" could be done here in Seoul. This
would permit us to assemble a representative group of inter-
ested parties, which would be impractical at another location. This
group would comprise representatives of several leading, corporations
and some possible collaborators in the distribution effort, including a
well production firm and publisher. We would also have the chance tp
discuss prospects firsthand. Thus, the Seoul venue would permit us to
kill three or four birds with one stone.
