Prosecutors started to probe the bank accounts of former Defense
Minister Lee Yang-ho and his family members yesterday to
investigate the allegation that he had received more than 1
billion won in bribes from Daewoo.
검찰은 21일 이양호 전국방장관이 대우측으로부터 십억원 이상의 뇌
물을 받았는지의 여부를 수사하기 위해 이씨와 가족들의 은행계좌 추
적에 착수했다.
Kwon, who recently fled to the United States, sent a fax message

received 1.3 billion won from Daewoo in December 1995 in return
for promising Daewoo contracts for an Army helicopter project.
