When an increased patient load began to overwhelm our hospital's emergency
room, we initiated a triage system to ensure that the most critical people
were treated first. However, some of the less seriously ill patients
occasionally had to wait as long as several hours before they could be seen.
Complaints were common.
One day trauma cases abounded, and the wait was particularly long. A police

조심해요! 하마터면 저 차에 부딪힐뻔 했잖아요!

Oh, come on.은 Oh, don't be so careful.(너무 그렇게 조심할 필요없어)과
같은 뜻이다. Come on.은 종종 Hurry along.이나 Don't delay.(서둘러)의
뜻으로 쓰인다. 동사와 부사의 연결이므로 부사인 on을 강하게
발음한다.Look out과 Watch out, Be careful등 3가지는
모두 [조심하라]는 뜻이다.
그러나 Look out이나 Watch out은 보다 위급한 상황에서 많이 쓰인다.

가장 위급한 상태의 환자들이 모여 있는 음압 병동에는 자가 호흡이 불가능한 수십 명의 환자가 인공호흡기에 의지한 채 바이러스와 싸우고 있다.
