Gas Oil, 중질 감압경유), HVGO(Heavy Vacuum Gas Oil, 중질 감압경유)로 구분함
광물연료와 화석연료 (Mineral and fossil fuels)
화학적 또는 물리적 반은(혹은 핵 전환)에 의해 방출되어진 에너지를 포함하고
있는 천연 광물 자원으로부터 추출되었거나 추출할 수 있는 원료로 다음과 같은
것들이 광물연료이다. : 고체연료, 액체연료, 가스 화석연료, 핵연료.
납사, 나프타 (Naphtha)
넓은 의미로는 휘발성 석유류를 총칭하며, 좁은 의미로는 원유에서 직접 생산되는
유분으로 끓는점범위 300℃ - 200℃ 에 있는 유분을 말함. 이중 끓는점이 100℃
이하인 것을 경질납사(Light Straight Run aphtha, HSR)라 함. 경질납사는 주로
용제 및 석유화학의 원료로 사용되며(CC의 원료), 중질납사는 개질시설(Reformer)을
통해 휘발유 제조나 B.T.X.생산에 사용됨.
수첨분해시설 (Hydrocracker / Hydrocracking Unit)
VDU에서 생산된 VGO(감압경유)를 촉매가 채워진 고온·고압의 반응기에서 수소와
반응시켜 분해하는 시설로 생산제품은 LPG, 납사, 등유, 경유이며 경유가
주 제품임. Hydrocracker는 FCC와는 달리 촉매가 고정상(Fixed Bed)으로 반응기에
채워져 있어 일정기간이 지나면 오염된 촉매를 재생시키기 위해 가동을
중지시켜야 하며, 다량의 수소를 사용할 뿐만 아니라 촉매의 오염문제 때문에
B-C를 직접 처리 못하고 VGO만 처리가 가능함. 그러나 Hydrocracker에서 생산된
제품은 분해반응과 동시에 탈황반응이 이루어진 초저유황 제품이며, 불포화
탄화수소도 거의 포함되지 않아 제품의 안정도도 매우 높음. Hydrocracker는
VGO를 처리하므로 원료를 만드는 VDU가 필수 시설이며 VDU에서 VGO와 동시에
생산되는 감압잔사유를 처리하기 위해 보통 VRHDS나 Coker를 같이 건설함.
유동상식 접촉분해시설 (FCCU / Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit)
유동하는 고온의 촉매를 사용하여 중질유를 분해하는 시설로, 원료로는
보통 VGO를 사용하여 흔히 VGO FCC라고도 함. 이 시설은 휘발유생산을
주 목적으로 하는 시설로 생산되는 주요 제품은 고옥탄가의 휘발유 및 LPG유분,
경유유분 등임. FCC의 초기 기술로는 촉매문제로 인해 연료유룰 직접 투입하지
못하고 감압경유를 투입하여 분해하였으나, 현재는 촉매기술 및 FCC에 대한
기술이 많이 발달하여 연료유를 직접 분해할 수 있는 RFCU가 널리 보급되고 있음.
접촉분해공정 (Catalytic Cracking)
고옥탄 가솔린 제조공정. 비등점 315-560℃의 가스오일을 원료로 사용하여
제올라이트 촉매상에서 반응시켜 가솔린을 얻는다. 최근에는 금속성분에 강인한
촉매들이 개발되어 잔사유를 원료로 사용하는 공정이 상업화되었다. 이 공정에서
사용되는 반응기는 유동상(Fluidized Bed)반응기로서 고체 촉매를 사용하는 기체
반응에 사용되는 특수한 형태의 반응기이다. 따라서 접촉분해공정을
유동접촉분해(Fluidized Catalytic Cracking : FCC) 라고 부른다.
정제(분리) (Cleaning (seperation))
석탄의 광물질(회분) 함량을 줄이기 위한 처리. 석탄의 정제과정에서 원료 물질은
그들이 갖는 물리적 혹은 물리화학적 특성에 따라 (기본) 성분별로 분리된다.
탄화(건류) (Carbonization (drying))
공기가 없는 상태에서 유기 원료를 가열하여 코우크스와 조 석탄 가스 및
조 타르를 얻는 것.

eosin (에오신) 견뢰도는 낮으나 선명한 적색의 프탈레인 염료로서, 레크 안료나 적색 잉크
의 원료.
Rauwolfia (라우월피아) 아시아 원산의 열대수 및 관목인 협죽도과 식물의 1속으로서 100
종류 이상이 있다. reserpine을 위시하여 의학적으로 흥미있는 많은 알칼로이드를 함유하고
있다. 남미, 아프리카, 아시아에서는 여러 의학품의 원료로 쓰인다.
- 정발제
위로 모발을 물리적으로 밀착, 고정함을 목적으로 하는 모(毛) 정발제는 수분, 유분, 광택, 향 등이 첨가되어 모발을 보호하며, 헤어스타일을 정돈시키므로 이를 정발제라 한다.
① 헤어 오일(hair oil)
헤어 오일은 담황색이나 황녹색의 투명한 두발용 기름으로서 모발에 유분을 주어 적당한 광택과 유연성을 유지시킴으로서 두발을 보호함과 동시에 정발하기 쉽게 하는 목적으로 사용한다.
② 헤어 크림(hair cream)
끈적이며 불쾌감을 주는 헤어 오일의 결점을 없애기 위해 기름을 물과 함께 유화한 것으로서 모발에 유분과 수분을 주어 광택과 유연성을 유지시키며, 모발을 보호함과 동시에 정발이 용이하다. 헤어 오일에 비해 헤어 크림은 유성성분이 없으므로 쉽게 머리카락을 세척시킬 수 있으며 적당한 정발력에 의해 유연하고 촉촉한 감촉과 광택을 준다.
③ 포마드(pomade)
유성 물질을 주원료로 하는 포마드는 젤리 상으로서 약간 굳은 반고체상인 유성의 정발제이며, 모발에 유분을 흡수시켜 광택과 정발력을 뛰어나게 한다.
④ 수용성 포마드
수용성 포마드는 계면활성제를 사용하여 유성 원료를 물(H2O) 중에 가용화 시켜, 투명한 겔상인 정발제로서 헤어 솔리드(hair solid)라고도 한다. 일반적으로는 외관이 포마드와 비슷하다. 수용성이므로 수용성 포마드 또는 워터 그리스(water grease) 등으로 불리며, 원료로서 유동 파라핀 올리브 유, 고급 알코올 등의 유성 물질 외에 정제수, 계면활성제 등을 첨가한다. 따라서 원료는 헤어 크림과 비슷하나 계면활성제는 유화제가 아닌 가용화 작용이 있는 겔화제로, 정발력은 떨어지지만, 끈적임이 없어 가벼운 느낌의 정발 효과가 있다.
⑤ 헤어 리퀴드(hair liquid)
shampoo 후 젖은 모발에 헤어 리퀴드를 모근 쪽으로 도포한 후 dry하면, 드라이어의 열로부터 두발을 보호하고 적당한 점착성과 정발력에 의해 자연스러우며 가벼운 느낌으로 정발 된다. 때문에 헤어 리퀴드는 헤어 브로우(hair blow)라고도 하며, 대표적인 정발제로서 헤어로션(hair lotion)이라고도 하며 널리 사용되고 있다.
⑥ 세트 로션(set lotion)
세트 로션을 도포한 두발에 roller 등으로 winding시나 brushing 등의 기술적인 작업으로서 건조시키면, 두발 표면에 얇은 피막이 생겨 curl이나 wave 등이 일시적으로 강하게 고정된다.
세트 로션은 피막을 구성하는 점액질을 포함한 에탄올과 정제수의 혼합액으로서 유연제, 계면활성제, 방부제 등이 배합되어 있다. 피막은 현재 합성 점액질이 사용되며, 유연제는 두발을 유연하게 하여 정발하기 쉽게 함과 동시에 피막에 가역성을 줄 목적으로 글리세린 등의 다가알코올과 라놀린 등이 사용된다. 액상이 아닌 투명한 겔상이므로 set lotion이라 한다.
⑦ 헤어 스프레이(hair spray)
헤어 스프레이는 reset된 hair style 표면에 균일하게 분무되어 얇은 피막이 형성되므로 hair style 유지를 더욱 지속시켜준다. 건조가 빠르며 습기로부터 헤어스타일을 보호하며 유연성과 가벼움을 주는 헤어 스프레이는 원액이 분사제와 함께 내압용기에 봉입 되어 있으며 이 분사제로서 액화석유가스(LPG)가 주로 사용되고 있다.
⑧ 헤어 젤(hair gel)
모발에 볼륨감과 임의의 hair style을 만들어 주며 촉촉함과 윤기를 준다.
⑨ 헤어 폼(hair foam)(같은 의미로 프랑스어인 무스(mousse)는 원래 거품이 나는 크림, 비누거품등의 뜻이 있다)
포상 정발료의 총칭으로서 에어졸 금속 캔에 정발 기능을 지닌 원액과 액화 가스가 들어간 것으로서 원액이 분출됨과 동시에 원액부에 내포되어 있던 액화가스가 대기압하에서 기화함으로서 원액을 팽창 시켜 포말상이 된다.
