→ 원래 닭을 쫓을 때 내는 소리인 shoo에서 파생, 비양심적인 사람들이 특정기수의 말이 우승하도록 조작하였는데 이때 승자를 shoo-in이라 했다.

→「~해서 축하하는」는 Congratulations on~/ Let me congratulate you on ~으로 하면 된다. Congratulations는「잘 했다」고 하는 뜻인데 생일 같은 동작이 없을 때에는 사용하지 않는다.
