The U.S. AD law is designed to counter international price discrimination,
commonly referred to as "dumping." Generally, dumping occurs when a foreign
firm sells merchandise in the U.S. market at a price lower than the price it charges
for a comparable product sold in its domestic market.
미국의 반덤핑법은 소위 “덤핑”이라고 일컫는 국제적인 가격차별에 대응
하여 고안되었다. 일반적으로 덤핑은 외국회사가 국내시장에서 판매된
비교 가능한 제품에 대한 가격보다 미국시장에서 더 낮은 가격으로 판매하
는 행위를 말한다.
