맞는다. 이는 산후조리에 신경을 쓸 여유가 없었던 생활 탓에서 얻어진 병
이리라. 'under the weather'라는 표현이 있다. 「기후 밑에서 영향을 받고
있다」는 식의 이 표현은 「몸이 불편하다」는 의미를 가진다.

antiserum (항혈청) 1종 또는 2종 이상의 항체를 함유한 혈청. 체내에 항원의 주사 또는 항
원을 함유한 미생물의 감염에 의하여 면역된 동물에서 얻어진다.

benzene (벤진) 무색 휘발성의 액체 탄수화물. 주로 석탄을 건류할 때 부산물로서 코울타르
와 함께 얻어진다. 방향성 냄세가 나고, 밝은 불꽃을 내며 연소한다. 유황, 인, 요오드, 유기
화합물 등을 잘 용해시킨다. 증기는 치명적 중독을 일으키기도 한다. 인플루엔자환자의 폐소
독제, 살충제, 표제성 기생충박멸제 등으로 쓰기도 했으며, 백혈병치료제로 지목되기도 하였

gluten (글루텐) 밀에 들어 있는 식물성 단백질로, 글루테닌과 글리아딘으로 이루어진 두 성
분의 혼합물이며, 가수분해에 의해 다량의 글루타민산이 얻어진다.

hematoxylin (헤마톡실린) 결정성의 염료. 소방목을 에테르로 추출하여 얻어진다.

secondary gain (이차 이득) 간접적인 이득으로서 보통 질병이나 쇠약으로부터 얻어진다. 이
것은 자신에게 해로운 의무나 활동을 피하고 통상적으로는 도와주지 않는 사람으로부터 지
지를 받을 수 있도록 한다.

single photon emission computerized tomography (단일 광자 방출 컴퓨터 단층촬영,
SPECT) 환자 내부의 핵산염을부터 방출되는 단일 감마 광자를 인식하는 것을 기본으로 하
는 단층촬영상으로서 요구되는 주사 형태에 따라 이러한 핵산염의 위치에 대한 정보를 제공
한다. 이러한 정보는 염증 세포나 대사 중인 골세포 등에 의해 얻어진다.

thymol solution (thymol 용액) 무색의 결정 또는 백색 결정성의 분말. 타임유 및 기타 휘발

다. 3세에서 7세사이에 발병하며 숙련도는 수일에서 수주간 상실된다. 발작의 시작과 언어의 상실의
시간적 연관성은 수개월에서 이년까지 선행할수 있다. 염증성 뇌염의 과정이 이장애의 원인으로
생각된다. 이런 환자의 2／3가 좀 덜 심하거나 더 심한 수용형 언어 장애를 남기게된다. 제외 :

suspension polymerization 현탁중합(懸濁重合)
젤라틴, 폴리비닐알콜 등의 현탁제를 용해한 수중에 단량체를 작은 물방울로 해서 분산시켜 뒤섞으면서 하는 중합법을 말한다. 개시제에는 단량체가용의 과산화 벤조일이나 아조비스이소부티로니트릴 등을 사용한다. 화학적인 반응형식의 면에서 보면, 괴상중합(벌크중합)과 같다. 성장하는 중합체의 입자는 유화중합에 의해 얻어지는 것보다 두드러지게 크다. 염화비닐, 스티렌 등의 중합체는 주로 이 방법에 의하여 얻어진다. 스티렌 등의 중합에서 얻어지는 중합체가 깨끗한 상태일 때 진주중합이라고 한다.

반합성섬유의 일종으로 초산셀룰로스에서 얻어진 섬유이다.
관세율표에서는 초산셀루로스 (cellulose acetate)라 표현하고 있다.
아세테이트는 견과 비슷하여 건조가 빠르다 (제54류, 제55류)

[纖維] BROOM
중앙아메리카지방에서 생산되는 잡초에서 얻어진 섬유로 황색을 띠며
강성과 탄성이 있다(제53류)

[纖維] KENAF
아욱과(Malvaceae family)에 속하는 식물에서 얻어진 섬유로 일명
Hibiscus hemp, Gambo hemp, Ambari hemp 등으로 불리운다. 용도는
망, 거친천, 제지용 원료 등이다(제53류)

[纖維] POLY-ETHYLENE
합성섬유의 일종으로 에틸렌을 중합하여 얻어진다. 전기절연성,
내한성이 좋고 합성수지로서 비교적 비중이 작다. 기계적 강도가
크고 가공성이 좋다. 가방용, 여과천, 벨트, 레이스류, 로프 등에
사용된다(제54류, 제55류)

[纖維] POLY-PROPYLENE
합성섬유의 일종으로 프로필렌을 중합하여 얻어진다.비중이 0.91로
가장 가볍고 강도가 우수하나 염색성이 나쁘고 내열성에 단점이 있다
(제54류, 제55류)

[纖維] POLY-URETHANE
합성섬유의 일종으로 우레탄결합을 가지는 고분자화합물에서 얻어진

라마(저마)란 모시풀을 말하며 백저마(white ramie, china grass)와
녹저마(green ramie)가 있으며 이들에서 얻어진 섬유를
말한다(제53류)

멕시코주산지인 열대성식물의 딱딱한 잎에서 얻어진 섬유이다.
Maxico sisal (백엽 사이설; 미국에서는 henequen이라고도 함)과
Tanganyi sisal(녹엽 사이설)의 2종이 있다(제53류)

섬수모의 일종으로 바다표범(海狸)에서 얻어진 모섬유이다 (제51류)
