At the annual shareholders meeting of General Iron and Steel Co., Ltd.
held today, my retirement as president and from the board of directors
was formally announced. My successor will be Mr. Christopher Rees, who
is now president of Specialty Steel Co. and one of the founding members
of General Iron & Steel Co.
오늘 열린 제너럴철강주식회사의 연차 주식총회에서, 사장직 및 중역회에서의
저의 은퇴가 공식적으로 발표되었습니다. 후임으로는 현재 스페셜티 철강 주식
회사의 사장으로 계시며, 제너럴철강 창단멤버 중의 한 분이신 Christopher
Rees씨가 될 것입니다.

As you may know, I have been with GENERAL since it was founded 17 years
ago. As such, it has been a privilege and honor to have seen the
company grow and acquire a reputation as one of the world's most modern
and efficient steel producers.
아시다시피 저는 제너럴철강이 창립된 이래 17년간 일해왔습니다. 따라서 회사
가 성장하여 세계에서 가장 근대적이고 효율적인 철강회사의 하나로 명성을 얻
게된 것을 지켜보게 된 것은 특권이자 영광이었습니다.

예고편(Trailer)
앞으로 공개될 신작 영화에 대한 주요 장면을 대략 90초 내외로 압축하여, 관객들의 호기심
을 유발시키는 광고 전략의 하나가 예고편이다.
애초 이 트레일러라는 말은 동시상영(Double Feature)으로 공개되는 영화중 첫 번째로 상영
되는 것을 지칭하는 용어에서 도입되었다.
근래 들어서 영화 산업의 발달로 인해 이 예고편의 형식도 다양하게 분화됐는데 현재 할리
우드에서 자주 통용되는 '트레일러'라는 용어를 살펴보면 다음과 같다.
- 티저 트레일러(Teaser Trailer)
: 극장에서 개봉되는 예고편. 대개 반년 전부터 상영, 관객들의 입소문을 유발시킨다.
- 피기백(Piggyback), 어태치먼트 (Attachment)
: A라는 영화의 예고편은 통상적으로 전혀 다른 B영화가 상영될 앞부분에 트는 것이 상례.
그러나 A라는 신작영화 앞에 붙이는 당사자 예고편 A가 어태치먼트이다.
- 그린 밴드(Green Band)
: 일반 드라마나 홈코미디물의 예고편을 지칭하는 말.
- 레드 밴드(Red Band)
: 성인용 영화의 예고편.
- 스페셜 슈트(Special Shoot)
: 극장에서는 공개가 되지 않는 예고편만을 위해 특별 제작된 장면.
- 커트 다운(Cut Down)
: 극장용 예고 필름을 30초 내외로 다시 축약시켜 TV용으로 방영하는 예고편.
