기재부는 "글로벌 교역 및 제조업 경기 위축 등으로 세계경제가 둔화되는 가운데, 일본 정부의 수출규제 조치가 계속되고 미중 무역협상의 전개 양상 및 글로벌 반도체 업황의 회복시기 관련 불확실성이 상존한다"고 평가했다.
The Ministry of Economy and Finance said, "While the global economy is slowing down due to global trade and the shrinking manufacturing industry, the Japanese government's export regulations continue, and uncertainties related to the development of U.S.-China trade negotiations and the timing of the recovery of the global semiconductor industry remain."

내년에는 미·중 무역 갈등이 어느 정도 해결되면서 세계경제의 성장세가 올해 3.0%에서 내년 3.4%로 확대된다고 KDI는 봤다.
The KDI predicted that the growth of the global economy which is 3.0% this year will expand to 3.4% next year, as the US-China trade conflict has been resolved to some extent.

기획재정부는 2019년 세계경제포럼(WEF) 국가경쟁력 평가 결과 우리나라가 141개국 가운데 13위를 차지했다고 9일 밝혔다.
The Ministry of Economy and Finance announced on the 9th that Korea ranked 13th out of 141 countries as a result of the 2019 World Economic Forum's national competitiveness evaluation.

이어 "중국 등 세계경제 성장세 둔화, 반도체 업황 부진이 이어지는 가운데 최근 미·중 통상마찰이 확대되는 등 대외여건의 불확실성이 커지고 있다"고 설명했다.
"Uncertainties in external conditions are growing, with the recent expansion of trade friction between the U.S. and China amid slowing global economic growth such as China and sluggish semiconductor industries," he explained.

대내외 여건과 한국경제 현황에 대해서는 최근 대외 불확실성이 확산되면서 세계경제가 부진한 가운데 한국경제도 영향을 받고 있다고 설명했다.
Regarding internal and external conditions and the current state of the Korean economy, he explained that the Korean economy is also affected by the sluggish global economy due to the recent spread of external uncertainties.

Finance ministers have promised to do everything possible to prevent plunging stock markets from dragging down the global economy's uncertain recovery.
