Sexual harassment or violence is an ever-present issue in Korean
society and elsewhere in the world. But a recent series of rape cases
involving teenagers have been grave enough to attract our special concern.

In any event, anti-sexual violence steps should consist of both severe
punishment of offenders and the education to teach possible victims
about the danger they are faced with in and around schools, working
places, and even at their own homes. Actions should start in earnest
before this particular category of crime reaches the point of no return as
it is assumed that the reported cases are only the tip of the iceberg.
