Many people think of crisis as being connected only with unhappy events.

crises we experience at times of life development and change. Some

later age to a new school, marriage, or election to public office. These
events may hasten the occurrence of a crisis, both for the youngster and

crash, being fired from a job, falling suddenly ill, becoming involved in
a legal suit, or losing a large sum of money. Severe illness will create
a crisis not only for the individual concerned but also for his family.

of parents."
