이는 지난해 10월 폐기물관리법 시행령 및 시행규칙 개정으로 의료기관에서 배출하는 기저귀 중 감염균이나 혈액이 섞여 있는 환자의 것을 제외하고는 생활폐기물로 배출할 수 있게 됐기 때문이다.
