time of day? 라고 말했다면 '내가 그렇게 세상 물정을
모르는 줄 아시오?' 정도의 뜻이 된다. Do you think I was
born yesterday?라고 한국상인이 말했더라도 '이봐요, 내가
그렇게 어리석은 줄 아시오?'란 말이 된다. born yesterday는
여기서 '어제 태어났다'는 말이 아니라 '어리석다'는 뜻이다.
