(2) 오늘날 우리나라에서는 인스탄트 식품시대가 도래함으로써 우리의 식사유형은 크게 변하였다. 식료품점에 가면 쉽게 살 수 있는 여러 인스탄트 식품들이 전통적인 음식을 대신하게 된 것이다. 이와 같은 현상은 산업사회에서는 필연적인 현상이다. 인스탄트 식품은 일에 바쁜 사람들이 시간과 정력을 절약할 수 있도록 해주기 때문이다.
그런데 음식문화가 급격히 변화하자 일부 부도덕한 식료품 생산업자들은 인스탄트 식품의 대량소비를 기화로 소비자의 건강을 해치는 불량식품을 생산하는 사례가 일어났다. 차제에 보건당국이 우리 주변의 불량식품을 뿌리뽑기 위해서 전면적인 행정감사를 시작한 것은 적절한 조처라 하겠다.

(ANS) The dietary pattern in our country has largely changed nowadays with the advent of an era of instant food. Many of traditional dishes have been replaced by instant food items that are readily available in groceries. In industrial societies, such a phenomenon is inevitable, since fast food makes it possible for busy hardworking people to save time and energy.
But in the wake of such a drastic change, some immoral food producers have been producing unwholesome food items potentially harmful to the health of consumers, taking advantage of the mass consumption of instant food. Under these circumstances it is more than appropriate that the public health authorities should have conducted an all-out inspection to root out substandard food.
