In a free democracy based on a free market system, there must be a
free flow of accurate information and fair criticism of social, economic
and political evils, malpractices and irregularities in a constructive effort
to improve society. Now effective measures should be instituted by the
government or the civil society to separate chaebol from the management
of the mass media before it is too late.
자유 시장경제에 뿌리를 둔 자유민주주의에서, 정확한 정보와 사회적, 경
제적, 정치적인 부정, 불법, 부조리 등에 대한 공정한 비평은 사회를 개선
시키기 위한 건설적인 노력의 일환으로, 자유롭게 유통되어야 한다. 이제
더 늦기 전에 정부나 시민 단체가 앞장서서 재벌의 언론 매체 경영을 효과
적으로 분리시키는 조치를 강구해야 할 것이다.

The government should allow employer and employee to resolve their own
problems without intervening. The government does not have to soothe labor
unions or bully management but only take legal action against unlawful moves.
This means the government should make sure employers observe legal
requirements before laying off workers. This is the only way to handle the
conflict. Temporary solutions offered by the government only neglect the
reality.
따라서 정부도 치러야 할 시련이라면 정공법적 대응태세가 필요하다.
노사문제는 기업현장에서 당사자 해결의 원칙을 지키도록 해야 한다.
정부는 이를 위해 노조 달래기에 연연할 필요가 없으며 불법행위엔 철저한

The anti-corruption campaign certainly reflects the
extraordinary determination of the government to eradicate
