손병두 부위원장은 "핀테크로 대변되는 혁신금융 환경에서는 단순히 부정적 결과를 피하기 위한 소극적 리스크 관리에 그쳐서는 안 된다"며 "혁신 저해라는 또 다른 리스크가 발생하지 않는지 세심하게 살펴봐야 한다"고 말했다.

손병두 금융위원회 부위원장은 30일 정부서울청사에서 브리핑을 열고 "지난달 16일부터 2주간의 서민형 안심전환대출 신청 건수가 63만4875건, 신청 액수는 73조9253억원으로 집계됐다"고 밝혔다.

손 부위원장은 "은행권에서 긴급재난지원금 신청과 소상공인 2단계 프로그램 신청이 동시에 진행되는 만큼 지원자들의 혼선이 발생하지 않도록 준비해달라"고 주문했다.

이날 출범식은 박원주 특허청장과 손병두 금융위원회 부위원장, 고준호 한국발명진흥회 상근부회장, 7개 은행 대표 및 신현준 한국신용정보원장 등 주요 관계자 60여명이 참석했다.

손병두 금융위 부위원장도 이날 기자들과 만난 자리에서 "롤오버되는 자금의 흐름을 보면 미즈호나 미쓰비시파이낸셜그룹(MUFG) 등 일본계 은행에서 특별한 움직임이 보이지 않고 있으며 정상적으로 차환되고 있다"며 시장의 우려를 일축했다.

손 부위원장은 "이번 대책이 현장에서 제대로 실행될 수 있도록 정책금융기관은 정책의 집행기관으로서 기업들이 제때에 편리하게 자금을 지원받을 수 있도록 관심을 가져달라"고 말했다.

부기관장 회의는 금융위 부위원장·사무처장·상임위원·증선위원, 금감원 수석부원장·부원장이 참여하며 2인회의 1주일 전 월 1회 개최하고 현안 발생 시 수시로 개최할 예정이다.

손 부위원장은 이러한 움직임이 대외적인 영향에 국내 악재를 동반했기 때문이라고 분석했다.

김 부위원장은 "코로나19 사태로 고용안전망에 대한 필요성을 느끼는 자영업자가 많아진 영향"이라고 분석했다.

손병두 금융위원회 부위원장은 9일 금융상황 점검회의에서 "채권시장안정펀드가 매입하기 어려운 기업의 회사채 발행 수요는 P-CBO, 회사채 신속인수제 가동을 통해 지원하겠다"면서 이같이 밝혔다.

김 부위원장은 "코로나19 사태를 계기로 굉장히 대규모의 고용 대책이 나오는 것을 보면서 고용 안전망이라는 게 임금 근로자뿐 아니라 자영업자에게도 필요하다는 인식이 확산한 것 같다"고 진단했다.

정승현 부위원장은 "코로나19로 인한 경제침체로 중소기업과 소상공인들은 대출 이자와 원금을 갚기에도 어려운 실정이며, 보증료까지 내야하는 것은 큰 부담"이라며 "경기도에서는 보증료를 지원하여 중소기업과 소상공인에 대한 지원 확대가 필요하다"고 말했다.
