Each time Ms. Goddard was brought in to run the newspapers. After
starting Baltimore's first newspaper, The Maryland Jounal, in 1773, her
brother went broke trying to organize a colonial postal service. While
he was in debtor's prison, Mary Katherine Goddard's name appeared on the
newspaper's masthead for the first time.

비상장주식의 경우 발행인 등의 신청이 있는 경우 전자등록이 가능하다.
In the case of unlisted stocks, electronic registration is possible if requested by the issuer.

이미 발행된 주식이 50인 이상의 투자자에게 매매되는 경우 발행인에게 증권신고서를 제출해야한다.
If the shares already issued are sold to more than 50 investors, they must submit a registration of securities to the issuer.

이어 "인수인이 고의 또는 중대한 과실로 발행인이 증권신고서나 투자설명서에 허위·거짓 기재하는 것을 방지하지 못한 때에는 과징금 부과 대상이 된다"고 밝혔다.
"If the consignee fails to prevent the issuer from falsely writing in a securities report or investment manual due to intentional or gross negligence, he/she will be subject to fines," he/she said.

비상장 주식과 같은 의무화 대상 이외의 증권은 발행인 등의 신청이 있는 경우에만 전자등록이 가능하다.
Securities other than those subject to mandatory objects, such as unlisted stocks, can be electronically registered only if requested by the issuer.

With their new book, ``The Internet Bubble,'' (HarperBusiness, $27), the
two Perkinses -- brothers and founding editors of Red Herring Magazine
-- say the time of reckoning is near. They predict that people holding
public Internet stocks could be looking at a 50 percent meltdown if they
don't sell before the bubble bursts.
