A large part of the influence of money and education on happiness comes
from one's original expectations. If you thought you would earn a lot,
perhaps because of extensive education, and did, you may have a "so what?"
attitude. But if your expectations have been overfulfilled, the happiness
that comes from getting more than you thought you would get can be quite
obvious. Thus the happiest groups are those with little education who
earn a lot; while the highly educated who earn a lot are not so well off psychologically.

얻게 되어, 생각했던 것보다 더 많은 돈을 벌게 되었을 때는 분명한 행복을
느낄 것이다. 그래서 가장 행복한 집단은 별로 교육을 받지 않고 돈을 많이
버는 사람들이다. 반면에 교육을 많이 받고 돈을 많이 버는 사람들은
심리적으로 그리 풍요하지 못하다.
Today, I'm writing with still another problem. After five years of
receiving my monthly statements like clockwork, I failed to receive one
for January. This particular statement is especially critical because
it reflect sizable transfers made in connection with my recent purchase
in the Moorings.
오늘은 또 한가지 문제가 있어서 펜을 들었습니다. 5년동안 착실히 보내오시던
월차 보고서 1월분을 아직 받지 못했습니다. 1월의 보고서는 최근 Moorings에
