질병관리본부는 해외 검역감염병 국내 유입을 예방하기 위해 세계보건기구(WHO)의 감염병 발생 정보를 바탕으로, 국내 감염병 전문가 검토를 거쳐 반기별로 검역감염병 오염지역을 지정하여 관리하고 있다.
The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency designated and managed quarantine disease-contaminated areas on a semi-annual basis based on World Health Organization (WHO)'s information on the outbreak of infectious diseases to prevent the inflow of foreign quarantine infectious diseases into Korea.
협의체 회의는 특별한 사정이 있는 경우를 제외하고 반기별 1회 이상 개최한다.
Meetings of the consultative body shall be held at least once a half-yearly, except in extenuating circumstances.
