The sheer size of Deer Cave
디어 굴은 엄청나게 크기 때문에
allows some animals to gather there in huge numbers.
동물이 큰 무리를 지어 모여살 수 있습니다
A staggering 3 million wrinkle-lipped bats live here.
이곳엔 3 백만이라는 어마어마한 주름입술박쥐가 살고 있습니다
The bats roost high on the walls and ceilings
박쥐들은 벽과 천정에 보금자리를 틀고 있습니다
where they're well protected from the outside elements and safe from predators.
외부로부터 잘 보호되어 있고 포식자들로부터도 안전하죠
And while they're up here, the bats produce something very important.
박쥐는 위쪽에 머물면서 아주 중요한 것을 만들어 냅니다
This hundred metre high mound is made entirely of bat droppings -
높이가 백미터에 이르는 이 둔덕은 박쥐 배설물로만 만들어진 것입니다
guano.
구아노(guano)라고 하죠
Its surface is covered by a thick carpet of cockroaches,

Kay : Bugs thrive on carnage, tiger.

ruction of other species.

Jay : You were stung as a child, weren't you?

all the work. You know, first I had to BEAN HIM IN THE HEAD
with this big rock. Then I was going to hit him with this 2
by 4. He kicked me. You know, it hurt. But then I got to the
fire. I layed out with the fire.
