POP(Point of Purchase)광고:백화점이나 슈퍼 같은데를 돌다보면 상품을
파는지 광고물을 파는지 모를 정도로 많은 광고물이 요란하게 붙어 있다.
이런 광고물을 업계에서는 POP(구매시점)광고라고 한다. 그 종류로는
천장에 매달려 캠페인 신상품출시 계절성 행사 등을 화려한 그림과 함께
알리는 톱보드(또는 모빌), 지저분하게 보이기 쉬운 판매대의 아랫부분을
가려주면서 상품을 알리는 라운드시트, 출입구벽면이나 기둥 등에 부착하는
포스터등이 대표적이다.
또 상품명을 손쉽게 알아볼 수 있게 해주는 '가격카드', 예쁜 모양의 종이에
인기상품 히트상품이란 말을 적어 시선을 끄는 '아이캐처', 명찰처럼 상품에
부착하는 '목띠'등도 같은 것이다.(비교 POS)
