There is no finer cure for backache, liver, stomach or intestinal problems than a mudbath, according to Professor Oren Mathenson of Newcastle University.
He says there is no need to go to a health club or spa.
You simply buy the right mud and fill the bath at home.
A warm mudbath relaxes the muscles and opens the skin pores to herbs millions of years old.
Mathenson states that the mud found in northern England has more than 300 different plants in a highly concentrated form and that their goodness is absorbed through the skin.
The only problem is getting the mud to go down the plughole after the bath.
Many of the mud packs which can be ordered from various health spas, however, come with instructions.

다만 문제가 되는 것은 목욕 후 진흙을 욕조의 마개 구멍을 통해 내려 보내는 것이다.
여러 군데의 건강 관리 클럽에서 머드 팩 주문을 받고 있으며 설명서도 제공된다.
