The students played a prank on their teacher for April Fool's Day. (학생들이 만우절에 선생님에게 장난을 쳤어요.)
오늘은 4월 1일 만우절이다.
Today is the first of April so it's April Fool's Day.
On April 1 my daughter, a pharmacy manager, found a note on her desk:
"Your business will be inspected today by local health authorities."
She rushed into the laboratory to put all the bottles and jars in order.
Only when she heard laughter coming from the staff did she realize
what date it was.
About two hours later two well-dressed gentlemen entered the ship
and identified themselves as officers from the local health department.
약품 관리자인 내 딸은 4월 1일날 책상에서 다음과 같은 쪽지를 보았다.
"오늘 보건 당국에서 당신의 업무를 시찰할 것임."
그녀는 서둘러 조제실로 들어가 약병들을 정돈했다. 직원들이 웃는 소리를
듣고 나서 그녀는 만우절이라는 것을 알았다.
약 2시간쯤 지났을 때 잘 차려 입은 신사 두 사람이 상점으로 들어와서
보건과 직원이라는 신분을 밝혔다.
So I let him. 그렇게 하라고 했지.
Yeah, so what's the big deal? 그래, 그게 어떻다는 거야?
What did you do? 그래서 어떻게 했는데?
I went nuts. 내 정신이 아니었지.
Ha, I guess you were really the April fool this time. 아하, 이번 만우절에 톡톡히 속았구나.
When pigs fly! 그럴 리가 없어요 / 어느 세월에.
It doesn't surprise me. 뭐, 새삼스러운 일도 아니잖아.
