Perhaps the saddest dilemma facing South Florida is the plight of the
refugees from Haiti.

Egypt's problems defy easy solution. The per capita income is a meager $469 per
year. Its middle class is beset by an acute lack of affordable housing. Industry
is virtually stagnant, and productive foreign investment is anemic.
The country now imports half of its food.

Sometimes slowness and depth of response are intimately connected.
Time is required in order to digest impressions, and translate them into
substantial ideas. The 'slow but sure' person, whether man or child, is
one in whom impressions sink and accumulate, so that thinking is done at
a deeper level of value than by those with a lighter load.
Many a child is rebuked for slowness, for not answering promptly, when
his forces are taking time to gather themselves together to deal
effectively with the problem at hand. In such cases, failure to afford
time and leisure encourages, if it does not actually create, habits of
speedy, but snapshot and superficial, judgment.

Many observers have commented on what seems to be the fact that fear plays
a much smaller part than we should think it must in the life of an animal
which lives dangerously.
Terror he can know, and perhaps he knows it frequently.
But it seems to last only a little longer than the immediate danger it
helps him to avoid, instead of lingering, as in the human being it does,
until it becomes a burden and a threat.
The frightened bird resumes his song as soon as danger has passed, and
so does the frightened rabbit his games.
It is almost as if he knew that "cowards die many times before their
deaths: the valiant never taste of death but once."

What do you think are the world's greatest problems of the twenty first century?
Many scientists say that the so called "population explosion" and food supply are the most serious dangers to the future of the world.
Those who believe that the worst will happen claim that the world population is growing much faster than its food production.
But not all scientists think so.
Some scientists claim that thanks to the development of technologies the world could produce enough food to feed everybody.

Despite the spread of COVID-19, the Ministry of Science and ICT selected companies that contributed to early stabilization of the situation by actively using technology to solve the immediate social problem.

Director Shin said, "First of all, we are putting all our efforts into preventing and overcoming the current COVID-19," adding, "We will focus on the substantialization of the four core values to create advanced medical, patient-centered, and world-centered hospitals in nature."

The KDCA said, "'Women's health' is important for not only solving the current social problems faced by Korea, such as low birthrate and aging society but also for the sustainable development of Korean society in the future, and it is expected that this forum will serve as a cornerstone for women's health research and policy development at the national level."

Cole : Maybe the human race deserves to be wiped out.
Jeffrey: Wiping out the human race?
It's a great idea. It's great. But, more of a longterm thing.
Um, first we have to focus on more immediate goals.
I DIDN'T SAY A WORD ABOUT YOU KNWO WHAT.
Cole : What are you talking about?
Jeffrey: Your plan. Emancipation.
WHAT ARE YOU WRITING? Are you a reporter?
Cole : It's private.

Madelyne: Hey! Let's remember that he came down here to help us.
So let's stop focusing on him and FOCUS ON THE PROBLEM.
Eleanor : She's right. I'm sorry, Mr. Latura. That was very rude.
Steven : Rude? What is this, some kind of good damn New York co-
untry club?
Roger : Watch your mouth.
Steven : You don't have a child down here.
And his past may have a great to do with our future. We
are going to drown down here and he's all we've got!
Kit : If I'm all you've got, then why don't you MEET ME HALF-
WAY. Is that fair enough?
