서비스산업. 과거 완구점이나 아동복 판매점이 주축을 이뤘던
에인절비즈니스는 이제 실내 놀이터, 액세서리 판매점, 사진관, 파티용품점
등으로 다양화 전문화하고 있다. 이미 선진국에서는 보편화 된 사업으로
우리사회의 소득과 생활수준이 높아지고 있는 것을 간접적으로 보여주고
있다.
Other trends and inventions had also helped make it possible for
Americans to vary their daily diets. Growing urban populations created
demand that encouraged fruit and vegetable farmers to raise more
produce. Railroad refrigerator cars enabled growers and meat packers to
ship perishables great distances and to preserve them for longer
periods. Thus, by the 1890's, northern city dwellers could enjoy
southern and western strawberries, grapes, and tomatoes, previously
available for a month at most, for up to six months of the year. In
addition, increased use of iceboxes enabled families to store
perishables.

Almost everyone now had a more diversified diet. Some people continued
to eat mainly foods that were heavy in starches or carbohydrates, and
not everyone could afford meat. Nevertheless, many families could take

What forms of life were able to make such a drastic change in lifestyle
? The traditional view of the first terrestrial organisms is based on
megafossils ― relatively large specimens of essentially whole plants
and animals. Vascular plants, related to modern seed plants and ferns,
left the first comprehensive megafossil record. Because of this, it has
been commonly assumed that the sequence of terrestrialization reflected

million years ago.
