하며, RNA에서 DNA의 형성 반응에 관여한다고 생각된다. 식사중의 비타민 B12는 소장 종
말부에서 칼슘, 위벽에서 생산되는 내인자 무코단백의 존재 아래 흡수된다. 혈청 반감기는
약 1주일이다.
