Further boosting stocks were comments by Federal Reserve Bank of New York
President William McDonough, who called the jobs report ``very good
news'' and did not find wages raising concerns about near term inflation.
윌리엄 맥도나우(William McDonough) 연방준비은행의 뉴욕지점장이 노동부의
고용현황보도를 '희소식'이라고 반기며 임금상승으로 인한 인플레 우려가
당분간 없을 것이라고 한 발언도 주가상승을 부추겼다.
McDonough is a voting member of the Fed's interest-rate setting group,
known as the Federal Open Market Committee, which meets on Dec. 21. The
Fed has already raised interest rates three times this year. Many Wall
Street do not foresee any further hikes until next year.
맥도나우는 연방은행의 금리결정기구인 연방공개시장위원회 위원 중
한사람으로 공개시장위원회 회의는 오는 21일로 예정돼 있다. 연방은행은 올들어
