(ANS) The number of students enrolled shows that the English School was most popular. The English School had as its teaching staff three Englishmen four Koreans. National Reader, one of the primary school textbooks used at the time in the U.S., was used as a textbook together with a conversation book written by one of the teaching staff. In addition to English, mathematics, history and geography, and science were also taught in English. A term of study was five years.

Idiocy and immaturity may perhaps be the best description for the
mentality of these young students who account for a small minority of
the nation's total university enrollment. Still it requires deep scrutiny
of government and school authorities on how the radical ``Jusa-pa''
students got elected to leadership positions at their respective schools
and how this so-called NL (National Liberation) faction held the
hegemony in the nation's student movement through all these years.

When Gregg Navarez graduated from high school in Los Angeles, he borrowed $125 from a friend.
He planned to use the money to start his own cleaning business.
Some people thought that Gregg would never be able to repay the loan.
But they were wrong.
Within only three years, Gregg's business was flourishing.
By the time he was 21, he was making up to $6,000 a month.
Gregg's success story was a result of hard work and good business sense.

I have heard so many good things about your camp from my friends.
I am eighteen years of age and a graduate of North Hills High School in Pittsburgh.
At present I am completing my first year at Temple University.
During the past seven summers I have gained invaluable experience through my dealings with children of all ages.
For five of these summers I was a camper at Camp Walden, Massachusetts.
I participated in all the camp activities and I was able to discover what qualities campers want most in their counselors.
For the last two seasons I was a counselor at the same camp.
If you feel that I measure up to your qualifications for the counselor,
I would greatly appreciate it if you could let me know when and where I may meet you.

It is a great honor for me to present a woman who I'm sure many of you have admired over the years.
She began her impressive work at Clark College.
There she majored in biology and graduated at the top of her class.
From there she went on to Adams Medical School, one of the finest medical research institutions in the nation,
where she first began to show an interest in genetic technology.
After graduating from Adams, again with honors, she continued to work in the field of genetics at the advanced think tank.
You will not find a finer research doctor anywhere in the world.
So, without any further delay, it is my pleasure to present Dr.
Brenda Walsh.

Recently, I was in a restaurant when a woman and a young boy sat down
at the neighboring table. I happened to hear their conversation, The
woman asked: "So, how have you been?". And the boy, no more than seven
or eight years old, replied, "Frankly, I've been a little depressed
lately." This remained in my mind because it strengthened my belief that
children were changing. As I remember, my friend and I didn't realize we
were "depressed" until high school. The proof of a change in children has
been increasing steadily. Children don't seem childlike anymore. Children
speak, dress, and behave more like adults than in the past. Little girls
wearing earrings and designer dresses are not uncommon. Boys wearing
hairs styles like movie stars aren't rare anymore. These changes are not
without reason. In the past, children learned the secrets of adulthood
very slowly. Today, however, TV, computers, and the media are pushing
children into adult roles. Indeed, the amount of information available to
children is quickening the beginning of adulthood.

After the peak year of 1957, the birth rate in Canada began to decline.
It continued falling until in 1966 it stood at the lowest level in 25
years. Partly this decline reflected the low level of births during the
depression and the war, but it was also caused by changes in Canadian
society. Young people were staying at school longer; more woman were
working; young married couples were buying automobiles or houses before
starting families; rising living standards were cutting down the size of
families. It appeared that Canada was once more falling in step with the
trend toward smaller families that had occurred all through the Western
world since the time of the Industrial Revolution.

There are about 10,000,000 children under five years old who need care
while their mothers work. Relatives care for about half of these
preschool children. The other half is looked after by people outside of
the family. Some working mothers hire baby-sitters to come into their
homes. However, this choice is too expensive for many people.
