Popular music is a business as well as an art. It is a business which
thrives on change and novelty. A group arrives; it is tremendously
popular for a while; the group's records sell in the millions.
It would seem that all that is necessary is to keep on repeating the
same success by singing the same songs and making the same record
over and over again. But it doesn't really work that way.
Both as artists and as popular entertainers, the performers have to
develop and try new sounds and new tunes. When they stop developing,
they lose both their commercial and their artistic appeal.

MSF was begun by a small group of French doctors including B. Kouchner
back in 1971. Over the years, many doctors from around the world joined
the organization. The group quickly became known for its work in helping
the hungry and ill. They firmly believe that all those who need a
doctor's help, no matter where they are, have a right to get medical
care. They sometimes risk their lives to provide such care. The
organization won the 1999 Nobel Peace Prize for its work on several
continents since its foundation.

To keep a pleasant environment, employers cannot allow certain kinds of
behaviors such as arriving late or bothering others. These behaviors may
weaken the group work environment and decrease productivity. So employers
always consider teamwork when they judge a worker's performance. They
look for employees who support each other, take pride in their work, and
encourage a pleasant working environment. Respect, good manners, and
thoughtful behaviors are keys to successful teamwork. In fact, working
well with others is one of the most important job skills.

What is MPEG ?
MPEG (Moving Pictures Experts Group) is a group of people that meet
under ISO (the International Standards Organization) to generate
standards for digital video (sequences of images in time) and audio
compression. In particular, they define a compressed bit stream, which
implicitly defines a decompressor. However, the compression algorithms
are up to the individual manufacturers, and that is where proprietary
advantage is obtained within the scope of a publicly available
international standard. MPEG meets roughly four times a year for
roughly a week each time. In between meetings, a great deal of work is
done by the members, so it doesn't all happen at the meetings. The
work is organized and planned at the meetings. MPEG itself is a
nickname. The official name is: ISO/IEC JTC1 SC29 WG11.
