I am not a mountaineer, but I love to hike and be outdoors. It was hot
that day, so climbing the mountain was much more difficult than I had
imagined. It took about six hours to reach the top. But the sweeping
beautiful view made the hard climb worthwhile. That night we cooked out,
and then shared a small cabin with other climbers. We awoke the next
morning to a magical sunrise, which made me understand why Korea is often
called "Land of the Mrning Calm."

◆ view, sight, scene
view는 경치를 뜻하는 가장 일반적인 말입니다.

◆ wonderful, marvelous, miraculous
wonderful은 경이적인 생각을 일으키는, '굉장한'의 의미로 자주 쓰입니다.
This room has a wonderful view of Seoul.
--> 이 방에서는 멋있는 서울 풍경도 바라볼 수 있습니다.
I had a wonderful time in London.
--> 런던에서 굉장히 즐거웠어요.
marvelous는 이상하고 기묘해서 놀랄 만한 이라는 뜻입니다.
She danced with marvelous grace.
--> 그녀는 경건할 만큼 우아하게 춤을 추었다.
It's marvelous how he's managed to climb that far.
--> 그가 어떻게 저리도 멀리 올라갔는지 놀랍다.
miraculous는 기적적인 일이라 사람이 한 일로는 생각되지 않는다는 의미를 지니고 있습니다.
When you look at the state of his car it's a miracle he wasn't killed!
