transparent는 대단히 clear하고 대단히 얇아서 그것을 통해 저쪽 물건을 쉽게 볼 수 있는 것을 말한다. 쉽게 광선을 통과시키는 것으로, 대개의 경우 translucent, pellucid, diaphanous의 대신으로 쓰일 수 있다.
