인터넷상의 각종 자원(화일, 뉴스그룹 등)을 통일된 방식으로 표현하는 주소.
보통 인터넷주소, 웹주소와 동일한 의미로 사용됨.
URL의 예 : http://dic.impact.pe.kr/index.html, ftp://ftp.netscape.com
URL의 발음 : "유알엘", "얼"로 발음함.
미국에선 "얼"이 조금 더 많이 쓰인다고 함.

URN : Uniform Resource Name. ("유알엔"으로 발음)
URL이 자원의 위치를 표시하나 변경이 잦아 이전 URL로는 찾을 수
없는 문제를 해결하기 위한 시도로 IETF에서 제기한 개념.
자원에 고유한 식별자를 부여함으로써 현재의 위치에 관계없이
동일한 URN으로 접근가능케 하는 의미.
URN은 아직 표준이 제안되고 있는 단계.

URL과 URN의 구별
URL이 자원의 주소(location)를 의미한다면 URN은 자원의 고유한 이름을
의미한다고 보면 됨. 자원이 없어져서 URL이 없더라도
URN은 이름으로서 자원을 지칭하는데 유효하다.
(책의 고유번호인 ISBN을 생각하면 좀더 쉽게 이해가 될 듯)

This agreement ("Agreement") between You and Abc Inc. ("Abc") consists of these Abc Xyz Online Program (the "Program") Standard Terms and Conditions ("Terms and Conditions").
귀하와 Abc Inc. ( 이하 "Abc") 간의 본 계약 ( 이하 “ 계약 ”) 은 Abc Xyz 온라인 프로그램 ( 이하 “ 프로그램 ") 표준 이용약관 ( 이하 “ 이용약관 ”) 으로 구성됩니다.
A description of the Program, as generally offered by Abc, is available at the Program Frequently Asked Questions ("FAQ") URL, located at https://www.Abc.com/Xyz/faq, or such other URL as Abc may provide from time to time. "You" or "Publisher" means any entity identified in an enrollment form submitted by the same or affiliated persons, and/or any agency or network acting on its (or their) behalf, which shall also be bound by the terms of this Agreement.

1. Program Participation.

If You wish to use Abc's trade names, trademarks, service marks, logos, domain names, and other distinctive brand features ("Brand Features"), You may do so, so long as such use is in compliance with this Agreement and in compliance with Abc's then current Brand Feature use guidelines, and any content contained or referenced therein, which guidelines may be found at the following URL: http://www.Abc.com/permissions/guidelines.html (or such other URL Abc may provide from time to time).
귀하가 Abc의 상호, 상표, 서비스 마크, 로고, 도메인 이름 및 기타 특유의 브랜드 표시 ( 이하 " 브랜드 표시 ") 를 사용하고자 할 경우, 그러한 사용이 본 계약 및 Abc의 당시 브랜드 표시 사용 지침 및 이에 포함되거나 언급된 내용을 준수하는 한 이러한 항목을 사용할 수 있습니다. 이에 대한 지침은 http://www.Abc.co.kr/permissions/guidelines.html 또는 Abc가 수시로 제공하는 기타 URL 에서 찾을 수 있습니다 .

9.3 If you have been given an explicit right to use any of these brand features in a separate written agreement with Abc, then you agree that your use of such features shall be in compliance with that agreement, any applicable provisions of the Terms, and Abc's brand feature use guidelines as updated from time to time. These guidelines can be viewed online at http://www.abc.com/permissions/guidelines.html (or such other URL as Abc may provide for this purpose from time to time).
