Instead of brooding so much about the wrongs that people have done you in the past, I suggest that you declare a personal amnesty and start thinking about the future.

Many boys and girls in the United States start thinking about being on their own during the late elementary school days.
They think about the time when they will be able to live by themselves.
They look forward to eating what they like whenever they like, going to bed when they want to and buying what they choose.
The big choice for many of them is not what career they are going to follow
but when they are going to leave home and be on their own.

It's great that you're thinking about your future.
You have a lot of time before you need to decide on a career, though.
And there are ways to prepare for whatever you will do.
You can spend time finding and doing the things that you really like.
It will help you figure out what you most enjoy doing.

One day, a poor man named Scott, came to visit Taylor.
He said, “Taylor, I need your help. I am a poor man, a man with no money.”
Taylor looked at him kindly and answered, “I'll help you. Tell me what's wrong.”
Scott said, “Yesterday I stopped in front of the door of a restaurant.
The restaurant belonged to a rich man.
I only smelled the food.
However, he wanted me to pay him for the food.
And he called the judge.
The judge said I must go to the court today.
Please Taylor, can you help me?”
In the court the rich man began shouting angrily at Scott.
And the judge asked Scott to pay him right now.
Taylor stepped forward and then said, “This poor man is my elder brother. I will pay you instead.”
After he heard this, the rich man smiled, thinking about his payment.
Then Taylor took a bag of money from his belt, a bag of copper coins.
He bent down next to the rich man and shook the bag.
“Listen. Do you hear this sound?” said he.
“Of course I hear it,” shouted the rich man impatiently.
“Well, then,” answered Taylor, “the problem is solved. The debt is paid.
My brother has smelled your food, and you have heard his money.”
The poor man was saved.
Taylor

As we drove home, Dad did not say a word.
With both hands on the wheel, he stared at the dirt road.
My older brother, Robert, was also silent.
He leaned his head back and closed his eyes.
When I opened the front door to the hut, I stopped.
Everything we owned was packed in cardboard boxes.
I sat down on a box.
The thought of having to move to an unfamiliar city brought tears to my eyes.
That night I could not sleep, thinking about how much I hated this move.

How can young people without power and resources help to solve social problems?
Youngsters learn by digging in and finding out what the issues are all about.
And by being informed, they can influence adults through direct action.
In fact, given an opportunity, young people many times have brought their thinking about significant issues to the attention of public officials.
Thanks to the actions of young people, historical sites have been saved, and several kinds of endangered plants and animals have been preserved.

Mae, a Chinese student, appeared in the dormitory room with a bruise on the face.
She felt she was ignored because her American roommate didn't mention it at all.
The wounded student thought that her silent roommate didn't notice or didn't care.
But the American student was purposely not paying attention, thinking Mae might not want to talk about it.
She let the Chinese friend decide whether or not to mention it.
She was being considerate by not imposing, which was the American style.
But Mae, based on the Chinese style, couldn't understand why her roommate didn't care.

Many people have been thinking of the possibility of sending human beings to Mars.
But we aren't really at that point yet.
Why? The first reason is safety.
Different nations have sent more than thirty probes toward Mars, but only one-third of them have survived the trip.
The second reason is cost.
It costs about a million dollars per kilogram to deliver robots to Mars.
It would take at least fifty billion dollars to get a person to Mars.
The last reason is the cosmic radiation that astronauts would absorb during the mission.
Much of this radiation is blocked on Earth by the Earth’s magnetic field.
Mars has no magnetic field.
* probe 탐사선

Steve Blass was a great pitcher in 1972.
In fact, he was one of the very best.
One year later, he was on his way out of baseball.
Did he get hurt? No.
Only one thing changed: he lost his confidence.
He said, “When it was gone, it was gone for good.”
He started thinking about all the things that could go wrong, and suddenly they did.
Steve Blass no longer believed he could be a major league pitcher,
and before he knew it, he no longer was a major league pitcher.
The ability to do anything must be accompanied by the belief that we can do it.
If you don’t believe in yourself, you won't be able to perform.
Steve Blass
Steve Blass

Asked when they feel satisfied with their life, most people say they feel so when they think they are superior to others.
That's true.
Many feelings of satisfaction or dissatisfaction have their roots in how we compare ourselves to others.
If we spend most of our time thinking only about those who have more, it's no wonder that we feel unhappy.
When we are surrounded by only those who have less, we feel grateful.
Even though we have exactly the same life either way, our feeling about our life can vary tremendously based on who we compare ourselves with.

Yes, your neighbors can hear it.
And no, they don't like it.

There is nothing so heartwarming as the love and loyalty of a dog, but it is better for the animal to be destroyed than to be left alone, neglected, bewildered and confused, brimming with love but with no one to accept it.

Everybody in the world is seeking happiness―and there is one sure way
to find it. That is by controlling your thoughts. Happiness doesn't
depend on outer conditions. It depends on inner conditions.
It isn't what you have or what you are or where you are or what you are
doing that makes you happy or unhappy. It is what you think about it.
For example, two people may be in the same place, doing the same thing;
both may have about an equal amount of money and prestige―and yet one
may be miserable and the other happy. Why? Because of a different mental
attitude. I saw just as many happy faces among the Chinese coolies
sweating and toiling in the devastating heat of China for seven cents
a day as I see on Park Avenue.
"Nothing is good or bad," said Shakespeare, "but thinking makes it so."
Abe Lincoln once remarked, "Most folks are about as happy as they make
up their minds to be."

If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that
you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as

is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so
little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own
contrary conviction. So whenever you find yourself getting angry about
a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find,
on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants.

If you keep a daily journal, you will find yourself writing down thoughts
that you carry with you all day. These thoughts include not just
conscious one. They also include subconscious thoughts that you were not
even aware you were thinking until you sat down to write. Pretty soon,
you will have collected a lot revealing facts about yourself. These will
help you focus on your problems, and ultimately solve them.

Nearly all of us daydream about important coming events. But lazy
daydreaming isn't the same as a hard exercise for the mind that practices
the skills actually used in the activity. Famous golfer Jack Nicklaus,
for example, never takes a golf shot without first thinking out the shot
and practicing it in his imagination. A pianist in China who had been in
prison for seven years played as well as ever soon after he was set free.
His explanation : "I practiced every day in my mind."

My mother hadn't seen my dad in four years of war. In my mind, he was a
tall, darkly handsome man I wanted very much to love me. I couldn't wait,
thinking about all the things I had to tell him of school and grades. At
last, a car pulled up, and a large man with a beard jumped out. Before he
could reach the door, my mother and I ran out screaming. She threw her
arms around his neck, and he took me in his arms, lifting me right off
the ground.

Breath again
By Tony braxton
If I never feel you in my arms again
If I never feel you tendal kiss again
If I never hear I love you now and then
we now never make to you once again

If love ends
Then I promise you I promise you that that I shall never breath

And I can't get your out of my head

Robin Fox points out that "any human group is ever ready to consign another recognizably different human group to the other side of the boundary.
It is not enough to possess culture to be fully human, you have to possess our culture."
Robin Fox
Although the error of this way of thinking about culture amy seem self-evident today, it is a lesson that anthropologists and the missionaries who often preceded them to remote areas learned the hard way, by observing the effects their best intentions had on people whose way of life was quite different from their own.

The debate about when people first came to the Americas has raged amongst members of the anthropology and archaeology communities since 1977.
The discovery and inspection of the Monte Verde site, in Chile, has finally caused a major revision of the previously accepted time for human arrival in the Americas, which had been thought to be 13,500 years ago.
In fact, because of the fundamental nature of this shift in evolutionary thinking, acceptance of the findings from Monte Verde came about slowly;
indeed, it was not until 1997 that the archaeological community finally endorsed the extensive evidence, with a paper about the site finally being published in the journal Science.
To this day, however, certain scholars still have doubts regarding how old the site actually is.

Whether or not to legalize euthanasia is thorny issue for most people.
It is clear that a lot of people will have to change their ways of thinking about death before it will become legal.
Perhaps euthanasia is an idea whose time has not yet come.

Some people cling to the idea that to read a book is in itself a worthier activity than to watch television, or to talk to your neighbor over the garden fence.
However, this is a foolish idea unless the reader is deeply occupied in thinking about the contents of the book he is reading.

The best reading is that which leads us into the thinking mood, and not that which is merely occupied with the report of events.
The huge amount of time spent on newspapers I regard as not reading at all, for the average readers of papers are mainly concerned with getting reports about events and happenings without thinking of value.

The subway is more than a simple means of transportation.
It is a place of rest for people on the way to work who catch more sleep, and it is place where people engage in precious introspection, reading or thinking about what they'll be doing the rest of the day.
To people who value this space, flashy entertainment programs or fancy advertisements are nothing but annoying noise.

Conventional vaccines are costly to make and distribute in the impoverished Third World countries that need them most.
That's why Arntzen and others began thinking about using plants instead of needles, creating vaccines that would be easy to grow locally in, say, Vietnam or Bangladesh.

He's also thinking about vaccines for cholera, hepatitis, human papilloma virus and measles.
Within a few years, some of the planet's most pernicious killers could be in retreat.

“I think it's only natural to look forward,” adds a resigned Emma
Southgate. “Edward, at 11, is already thinking about driving lessons
and where he will take his girlfriend when he has one later on.” She
points out that the Walkman, which is a must-have for tiny-tots today,
came on to the market when she was 16. “If it had been available when I
was eight I'd have wanted one, definitely! Children today may have the
trappings of adulthood, but if all the things they have now had been
around when we were young, we'd have wanted them, too.”

Happy people do not always experience one success after another, and unhappy people do not always experience one failure after another.
Instead, surveys show that happy and unhappy people tend to have had very similar life experiences.
The difference is that the average unhappy person spends about twice as much time thinking about unpleasant events in his or her life, while happy people tend to seek and rely on information that brightens their personal outlook.

Jack says no.
Maybe you should stop thinking about Jack and start thinking about yourself.
It's Jack's family, so it's Jack's call.
After what happened with Jamey, we don't know who we can trust.
Come on. Green may be a hard-ass, but I don't think she's dirty.
I agree, but she does things by the book.
If we tell her, she'll call Division, and before you know it there'll be 30 people in the loop.
If just one of them is another Jamey...

- I had his ass, too. - Yes, you had him
and the minute you started thinking about yourself instead of the case, you lost him.
There is no room in this department for "subjectivity." You know that Warrick,
we handle every case objectively and without presupposition regardless of
race, color, creed or bubble-gum flavor.

I was sitting here thinking the same thing about your phantom driver.
So what you think?
Can two solid theories, each backed by evidence, both be correct?
There, there is our guy, handing it off.
Life's
삶은
like holding a dove.
You hold it too hard...
you kill it.
Hold it too soft...
and it'll fly away.

Why don't we dust for prints.
Mr. Ziegler one more thing,
what about the security alarm?
Somebody disengaged it...
You thinking what I'm thinking?
Oh yeah,
inside job.

Want to share?
I was just thinking about what old man, Binion,
told Steve Wynn when he hit town
"Always give a gambler an excuse to gamble, and he'll thank you for it."
Was your guy a gambler?
And a bunch of cash receipts in his pockets.
Markers all over town.
Once you get to that place there's no getting out.

Theories give way to conclusions once all the evidence is in.
I am merely thinking about the next piece of evidence.

We need a lawyer.
Why would you need a lawyer?
Not for us. For our daughter.
What were you thinking?
I don't know.
I wanted to observe them. I guess.
That woman hasn't seen her daughter in 21 years
you actually thought a glass wall would keep them apart?
I never thought about that.
I know.
알아요
You're not good with people.
Yeah.
그래

Grissom! Grissom!!
Sorry. I was thinking.
About what it's like to be deaf?
About what it's like to hear.
Sara told me that you spoke in sign and
And now you're putting plugs up your ears?
I'm on a case.

- Grissom ... - Sit down, Sara.
Okay. If we're to follow your line of thinking
- are you out ahead of him? - Not yet.
He knows just enough about forensics to be dangerous.
He thinks he's throwing us off track by planting confederate hairs.
He probably shaves his head maybe his entire body as DNA protection.

What did you get?
I posted the lady from the hotel,
and I have to say it's the same menu as the last three-
chemical restraint, overligature, death by strangulation.
What about the object-rape?
Indeterminate polymer?
No, this one's different.
Different how?
Cross-hatched leather, with tiny air holes for breathing.
I was thinking driving gloves, or weightlifting gloves, or ...

I found a small persistence of white cotton fibers.
Could have been the staging area.
Maybe he wears his murder kit.
Well, I remember what you said about signature guys
and how they have low self-esteem. They're always going to the gym to work out
so I'm thinking gym towels.

Probably we'll want something healthier tomorrow night, though.
I'm thinking about chicken Saltimbocca.
I want a divorce.
I just can't live in this --
this detergent commercial anymore.

um, okay.
좋아
Here's the thing, Karl --
