After parking our car at my daughter's apartment late Saturday night,
I noticed the one next to it had its lights on. I left a note on the
windshield with the telephone number, saying I'd come down and give
the battery a boost if needed.
About 3 a.m. the phone rang and a man said, "I'm sorry to bother you,
but I read your note and sure would appreciate a boost."
I turned on my car lights to see what we were doing, and after I got
him started, he offered to pay me. "No thanks," I replied. "Just
help some other motorist sometime."
When I went to my car on Sunday morning, I discovered I had left
my lights on, and the battery was dead.

Trying to get my teen-age son to clean his room was a monumental struggle.
Finally I threatened, "If you don't have that room cleaned by Monday,
I'll clean it for you!"
Monday morning came, and it was still a disaster. As he left for school,
I reminded him of my threat. As it happened, I was so busy I never got
to it. When he came home, he walked straight by me without saying a word.
A few moments later he came back into the kitchen, put his arm around
my shoulders and said, "Thanks, Mom, you cleaned my room just the way
I like it."

A:I'm sorry I don't know the phone number.

I'd like to speak to Miss brown.
I'm sorry. She is not in now. Shall I have her call you back?
No, thanks. I'll call again. Is she expected soon?
Yes, in about an hour.

You want to go to the Michael Jackson concert?
Yes, I do, but the tickets are all sold out.
You can have mine. Here you go.
you're giving it to me for nothing?
Sure.
Thanks a milion! They don't call you Mr. Santa for nothing!

Are all your collegues doing well?

Thanks for the times that you've given me
The memories are all in my mind
And now that we've come to the end of our rainbow
There's something I must say out loud

What do you think are the world's greatest problems of the twenty first century?
Many scientists say that the so called "population explosion" and food supply are the most serious dangers to the future of the world.
Those who believe that the worst will happen claim that the world population is growing much faster than its food production.
But not all scientists think so.
Some scientists claim that thanks to the development of technologies the world could produce enough food to feed everybody.

Thanks. Hi, um, 'kay. I'd like to start with a song that's about a man that I recently met, who's, um, come to be very important to me. 'Kay.
You don't have to be awake to be my man,
As long as you have brainwaves I'll be there to hold your hand.
Though we just met the other day,
There's something I have got to say...

Ok, um, we haven't known each other for that long a time, and, um, there are three things that you should know about me.
One, my friends are the most important thing in my life, two, I never lie, and three, I make the best oatmeal raisin cookies in the world.
Ok, thanks Pheebs.
Oh my God, why have I never tasted these before?!
Oh, I don't make them a lot because I don't think it's fair to the other cookies
All right, well, you're right, these are the best oatmeal cookies I've ever had.
Which proves that I never lie.
I guess you don't.
Paolo made a pass at me.

Oh, okay.
Listen, thanks for everything, Mon.
You're welcome.
Maybe you wanted your marriage to fail.

If you go to a hotel you'll bedoing stuff.
I want you right here where I can keep an eye on you.
You're gonna keep an eye on us?
That's right, mister, and I don't care how old you are, as long as you're under my roof you're gonna live by my rules.
Wow. He's strict.
Now dad, you'll be in my room, Ronni uh, you can stay in Chandler's room.
Thanks. You're, uh, you're a good kid.
C'mon, I'll show you to my room.

That sounds so weird when it's not followed by "No thanks, it's late."
Okay.
Now this is just for tonight. Starting tomorrow, you gotta make a change. This has gone on long enough.
What kinda change?
Well, either you break it off with Ronni
I can't do that!
Then you gotta come clean with Ma!
This is not right!
Yeah, but this is
I don't wanna hear it!
Now go to my room!

And I'd like to believe that when the right woman comes along, you will have the courage and the guts to say "No thanks, I'm married."
You really think so?
Yeah. I really do.
Thanks, Chandler.

Excuse me, could we get an egg over here, still in the shell?
Thanks. An egg?
Yeah, you're gonna go up to her and say, "Here's your egg back, I'm returning your egg."
I think it's winning.
I think it's insane.
She'll love it.
Go with the egg, my friend.
- Think it'll work?
- No, it's suicide. The man's got an egg.
You can not do this.

You always wanted to go to that Colonial Williamsburg. How 'bout we do that?
Thanks, Dad, really, I ju you know, I just, I just needed to know,
um when did you start to feel like a father?
Oh, well, I, I guess it musta been the day after you were born.
We were in the hospital room, your mother was asleep,
You were this ugly little red thing,
and all of a sudden you grabbed my finger with your whole fist.
And you squeezed it, so tight.
And that's when I knew.

So, Phoebs owes $7.50, Monica, you owe $10, and Rachel, you owe fifteen big ones.
But hey, thanks for teachin' us Cross-Eyed Mary. You guys, we gotta play that at our regular game.
Alright, here's my $7.50. But I think you should know that this money is cursed.
What?
Oh, I cursed it.
So now bad things will happen to he who spends it.
That's alright, I'll take it. Bad things happen to me anyway. This way I can break 'em up with a movie.

What did Lucas tell you?
Look, no offense, Zoe, but I don't have time
to be anyone's training wheels.
I just thought...
No, I was actually offering to lend a hand.
That's it.
Got it. Thanks.

I really like the work you've done on the new draft.
It's a big step forward. We're going to make history together.

Well, we'll let it run its course under proper supervision.
I won't take no for an answer on this.

Thanks.

No. I never say anything about our tenants.
The press still outside?
Yeah.
- 네
I told them you weren't here, like you said.
Most of them left. There's still a few, though.
If I wanted to leave, is there a place
I could do it without being seen?
Yeah. The freight elevator down to the garage.
I could call you a cab or...
All right. Thanks. I'll let you know.

Can I help you with something?
Yeah. I was just looking for the bathroom.
The bathroom is out this door, to your right, down the hall.
That way? Thanks.
Yeah.
- 네

And what would the first one be?
Well, I think you know.
Well, I still like to hear you say it.
All right.
좋아
The most important day of my life...
was when I hit the game-winning three against DePaul at the Final Four.
You just lost my vote, Senator.

The polls open in less than three hours... Mr President-To-Be.

You look exhausted. Go to bed. That's an order.
All right. Promise you'll wake me if you need anything?
- Absolutely.

- OK. Um... let's talk.
Since we're just a few floors apart, I was thinking maybe we could get together.

And I'm afraid I'm intact and as grouchy as ever. So let's all get back to work.
- Where's Keith? - He left about a half-hour ago.
- Did he say where? - No.
- Look, I'm a little worried about him. - Why?
He wasn't being himself. He stormed out of here like he was angry.
- I'm sure he'll be all right, Anna. Thanks. - OK.
Should we... send someone after him?
No. No, he's OK. He just needs some time alone.

- Maureen, hi. Thanks for getting back to me. - I'm about to go on air, Sherry. What's up?

The story about Keith is exclusive and it's documented.
I'm not making false allegations about him.

Well we found some particles of latex on your Thumb print.
