(ANS) It was at dusk the following day-it happened to be a particularly cold day, and Mr. Koh had remained in the tea-room until late, when Kwanshik showed up again. He was carrying a bundle wrapped in an old brown blanket. He approached Mr. Koh, shoving through the narrow space between the coffee tables dragging the bundle, while everyone in the tea-room watched him with wide-open eyes. A waitress tried to stop him, but he pretended not to notice her. Mr. Koh rose from his seat, frowning.

1.Could you get me some tea, pleasse?

Water is the best drink when you are thirsty.
It is absorbed by the body more quickly than a drink with a lot of sugar in it, such as soda.
Within 15 minutes of drinking a glass of water, most of it has already left the stomach.
It is flowing to other parts of the body, helping to cool and clean them.
A soda, on the other hand, is still sitting in the stomach 15 minutes after drinking.
Sodas that have caffeine in them actually take water from the body.
So do other drinks with caffeine, such as coffee and tea.

The last time I went out for breakfast, I had to choose among ten types of pancakes, six varieties of juice, and four kinds of potatoes.
To my surprise, my wife and children love all this.
They love going into an ice cream shop and being able to choose among seventy-five flavors of ice cream and seventy-five flavors of topping to put on them.
For my part, I increasingly find that I miss simplicity.
Faced with a glass case filled with eighteen types of coffee, I just wish for a nice cup of tea.
I'm afraid I am the only person in the house who feels that way.

Some history researchers suggest Marco Polo never actually visited China.
Why do they say that?
First, they ask why he didn't write about the Great Wall.
It's hard to miss!
Then, they point out he also failed to mention Chinese tea-drinking ceremonies, a very important part of life there.
Moreover, no Chinese sources of the period mention Marco Polo, although they mention other foreigners.
Finally, some say he never traveled much farther than Turkey.
Travelers who tried to follow his route always became lost at this point.
Perhaps he copied details from guidebooks on China.

The first thing the English teacher did was to pass around a tea bag.
She said, “I was making my usual cup of tea this morning, and I found this strange tea bag.
It smells of tea, and it looks the same as all the other tea bags in the box, but there is nothing inside it.
I'd like you to write something, using this as a metaphor.”
We got into it right away and came up with some really cool ideas.
The teacher said tea bags bring good luck, so she hung this one above her desk.

After we had all survived that first day, we built an even better relationship with the teacher, and we learned a lot.
And whenever I felt particularly stressed, angry or sad, I would go sit under the tea bag and talk to her.
She was definitely a friend as well as a teacher.

The Portuguese were the first Europeans to establish important trade links with China in the 1500's.
The British, French, and Germans soon followed.
Europe wanted Chinese silk, tea, porcelain, and ivory, but it had little to offer in return except cotton textiles and opium.
Although the Chinese tried to ignore or resist the foreign traders, two factors worked against them.
The central government in China was weak, and the Europeans had superior weapons and ships.
By the beginning of the twentieth century, the Chinese were unable to stop foreign interests from influencing their country.

On the morning of January 14, 1990, Jim Williams came downstairs to feed the cat and make himself a cup of tea.

When I telephoned my sister's house from my office, her teen-age son

it and she should call me to find out why."
Later on I had to leave the office, and I returned to find my wastebasket
perched on top of my desk. "Why is this here?" I asked the secretary.
"Your sister returned your call," she replied.

The tea shops, known as tabang of the 1980s have almost disappeared and replaced by upscale coffee shops and German-style beer gardens, called hofs.
Cups of coffee with exotic names or mugs of draft beer with side orders of french fries have replaced the tea and peanuts.

Before he came up with this innovations in 1916, clerks fetched items
upon the request of patrons. This is not to say that grocery store
chains were new. The first well-known chain was the Great Atlantic and
Pacific Tea Company founded in 1859. More familiar with as A & P, the
chain had 2,000 stores all over America by the outbreak of World War Ⅰ.
But A & P shoppers still did their buying the old-fashioned way ―with
the help of clerks. But when America entered the war in Europe in 1916,
clerks were in short supply. Almost out of necessity, Saunders thought
up this new way of shopping which he actually patented under the name
Self- Serving Store. He opened his first store in Memphis which he
called Piggly Wiggly. He chose the odd name for his store because it
invariably attracted attention.
Great
Altlantic and Pacific Tea Company였다.

The guy said it was natural. That it wasn't a drug.
I mean, jimson weed is a plant.
Most drugs derive from plants. That doesn't make them safe.

Yeah, but he said it was safe. That's why we bought it.
Did you take the drug, too?
Yeah,

we both did.
You drink it. It's a tea.

Who sold you this "tea?"
He didn't give a name. He just...

Jimson tea.

I like to see what I'm dealing with.
- Doesn't look lethal, does it? - Doesn't look like tea, either.
- What's that? - That every human encounter is
a singular occasion which can never recur again in exactly the same way.

This Ethan was selling jimson weed tea at the desert rave.
I believe Eric drank the most toxic part...
the dregs -- the bottom of the batch, the part that's full of seeds.
Well, if that's true
then you might be able to catch up with some of those seeds

here.

I uh,
난…
I just wanted you to know that Eric didn't die from Jimson tea.
It didn't have the chemical toxicity to kill him.
The seeds weren't strong enough.
Is your arm all right?
Yeah, spider bite,
I think it's infected.
- May I take a look? - Sure.
You're a doctor, you might be able to give me something for it.
I'm a Ph.D., not an M.D...

You and Eric bought the jimson tea from Ethan that night.
But you boys'd never taken j-weed before.
So you weren't aware of the side effects of photophobia.
Photo-what?
Photophobia. It's just a big word for: light's freaking you out.
You guys were hallucinating.
And whatever Eric was seeing,
it was scaring him. Big time.

Nick? / Yo.
No, thanks, I'm an ice tea man.
It's not a refreshment. It's an experiment.

Take this to the lab, in a controlled space.
Seventy-two degrees Fahrenheit. Then open it.
And keep this in the same room-temp' space.
Okay, then what?
Process Nick, process.

You know, they call him Limp Harry.
But his prognosis with chemo is nearly as good.
And, frankly, if you're worried about missing your tea time, I'd be more than happy to finish.

Are we saving lives or having a tea party?

I'll just take the tea.

Do any of them advertise on our network?
I don't believe they advertise anywhere.
And by any chance was it around this time
that Will had some kind of epiphany about the Tea Party?
The Tea Party isn't what it started out to be.

Charlie, I understood the Tea Party in the beginning,
just like I understood the SDS.
SDS(민주연합)과 비슷한 운동이야
The Tea Party was a middle-class movement
responding spontaneously to bad trends.

So you think the '60s radicals and the Tea Party are roughly the same?
With one big exception.
Even at the height of 1968,
the Democrats wouldn't have nominated Abbie Hoffman
or Jerry Rubin for any office
and no candidate would have sought their endorsement.
Can you imagine Humphrey or Kennedy
standing for a photo op with Bernardine Dohrn or Allen Ginsberg?
- Get there. - Oh!
- I didn't even know you were here. - Get there.

The Tea Party is being radicalized
and their original organizing principles obliterated.
And no one should be laughing anymore.
They should be scared shitless.
My party's being hijacked and it's happening in real time.

Hard-core conservatives are getting primaried.

And unless we're all blind,
the Tea Party is the one doing the GOP bashing.

- Charlie, give me a break. - Ask Bryce Delaney.

of the true owners of the United States.
Mike, tell us why you became involved with the Tea Party movement.
Well, first and foremost, we want to take our country back.
All right, just to be clear, is your country my country, too?
- Of course. - Okay.

Who do you want to take our country back from?
We want to take it back from a Congress and a president

You describe the Tea Party as a grassroots movement, right?
Absolutely. We have no central control,
