하는 것도 알아두세요. 그 다음 미국 만의 음식은 요전에 설명했던
핫도그(franks 또는 frankfurters라고도 합니다)가 있고 또 다양한
Sandwich가 있습니다. 이 샌드위치 안에 들어가는 것을 filling이라고 하며
tuna fish, egg salad, ham, chicken, turkey(칠면조), roast beef, cheese 등이
있습니다. 미국인이 가장 많이 먹는 것은 Club Sandwich인데 이는
빵 세쪽에 filling이 두번 들어간 샌드위치이지요. 또 하나 BLT라는 것은
Bacon, Lettuce(양상추), Tomato가 들어간 샌드위치로 아주 자주 먹는 것입니다.
아무튼 미국 생활을 편안히 하기위해서는 위의 햄버거나 샌드위치에 자기
입맛을 길들일 필요가 있지요. 또 경우에 따라서는 자신이 색다른
filling을 개발해 먹을 필요도 있구요.
