Go to any vacant lot and look around.
Under the “no dumping” signs you will find old tires, rusting sinks, junked refrigerators, and other trash.
There are also laws about the care of dogs, but some dog-owners seem to be ignorant of them.
They let their dogs run loose and do not clean up after them.
Perhaps the most disregarded of all laws are our traffic regulations.
More and more drivers are speeding, going through red lights, and double parking on the road.
And some drivers, apparently not even worrying about being fined,
have been parking in spaces clearly marked as reserved for the physically challenged.
These are some examples that show a lack of respect for the law.

A strong, healthy body can do an amazing job of resisting disease.
There are many things you can do to keep your body healthy, such as eating proper foods.
Getting plenty of sleep is another good habit.
A tired, run-down body is like a car that needs a tune-up; it does not function efficiently.
Exercise is important in reducing stress and keeping the body healthy.
Regular, moderate exercise will relieve muscle tension, keep the muscles firm, and make the heart and blood vessels healthy.
Exercise, like sleep, makes the body function more efficiently.
People who exercise regularly can even strengthen their hearts.

I recently had an encounter with a dog owner letting his large German shepherd run free around the park.
For the third time in the last month, I asked the man to restrain the dog while I ran past with my leashed dog, and he refused.
Another man who regularly plays with his dog simply stares when I ask him to restrain his dog.
Dog owners like these two men usually say their dogs are “safe.” But I've seen apparent “hellos” escalate into vicious fights between two “nice dogs.” Dog fights are brutal and bloody affairs impossible to break up without risking serious injury.
I was seriously bitten some years ago breaking up a fight between my dog and an unleashed dog, and had to have stitches and a rabies shot as a result.

In the dictionary of youth there is no such word as "fail." Remember the story
about the boy who wanted to march in the circus parade? When the show came to
town, the bandmaster needed a trombonist, so the boy signed up. He hadn't
marched a block before the fearful noises from his horn caused two old ladies to
faint and a horse to run away. The bandmaster demanded, "Why didn't you tell me
you couldn't play the trombone?" And the boy said, "How did I know? I never
tried before."

Bing Crosby writes of an experience he had while traveling by train through the
Southwest many years ago.
Our train was stopped, and we were told there'd be a wait, so I walked up and down
the track behind the train. The rear brakeman, a hard-bitten little Texan, was walking
up and down, too, swinging his lantern. He came up to me and said,"They tell me that
rascal Bim Crosland's aboard. They say he's quite a singer, but as far as
I'm concerned, Larry Ross could run him in a gopher hole."
I agreed with him and thought no more of it. In the morning, there came a knock
on our door. It was the brakeman. He eyed me with a twinkle and said, "You
hoaxed me, didn't you? You're Bim Crosland yourself! Just for that, you've got to
sign my book."
So I signed it:"Bim Crosland."

Sung By Stevie Wonder

So tired that I couldn't even sleep

I can go where no one else can go
I know what no one else knows
Here I am just drowin' in the rain
With a ticket for a runway train
Everything is cut and dry,
Day and night, earth and sky
Somehow I just don't believe it

Runaway Train
Soul Asylum
Call you up in the middle of the night
Like a firely without a light
You were there like a blowtorch burnin'
I was a key that could use a little turnin'
So tired that I couldn't even sleep
So many secrets I couldn't keep
Promised myself I wouldn't breathe
One more promise I couldn't keep
It seems no one can help me now
I'm in too deep there's no way out
This time I have really led myself astray
-
**
Run away train never going back
Wrong way on a one-way track
Seems like I should be getting somewhere
Somehow I'm neither here nor there
-
Can you help me remember how to smile
Make it somehow all seem worthwhile
How on earth did I get so jaded
Life's mystery seem so faded
I can go where no one eles can go
I know what no one eles knows
Here I am just drownin' in the rain
What a ticket for a runaway train
Everything seems cut and dry
Day and night,earth and sky
Somehow I just don't believe it

Two steps behind - sung by Def Leppard
-
Walk away, if you want to
It's OK, if you need to
You can run but you cna never hide
See my shadow come creeping up
Beside you
There's a magic
Running through your soul
But you can't have it all
-
Whatever you do
I'll be two steps behind you
Wherever you go
And I'll be there toust can't fight it
Look around
You'll see what you can find
Like a fire that's burning up
Inside me

A man has been run over by a car.
That main is drowning.
Somebody! There's a man down here!
Call the ambulance!
Thief!
Someone has just broken into my house.
I was mugged.
I heard that a bank was robbed.
There was a murder.
Did you hear about the serial killer?
Did they catch the suspect?
Call the police!
I want to report an accident.
This is an emergency!
She wasn't involved, was she?
No, she just saw it. But it really upset her.
There was a car accident on Highway 40 last night.
The radio said there was a head-on collision on Highway 40 yesterday.
I ran into her by accident at a department store last week.
The little boy was playing with the gun and fired it into the wall by accident.
His parents are stupid for leaving a gun where he could get it.
I accidentally put sugar on my friend chicken instead of salt.
She'll be late. She had a slight mishap: She spilled coffee on her dress.
Jane inadvertently knocked over the lamp when she hung up her coat.
Did it break?
I raised my hand to hail a taxi and unintedtionally hit a man in the face.
Jack unwittingly killed his goldfish by overfeeding it.
Bad news, I had a fender bender on the way home.

The first firing hardens the pottery, and it is then ready to be glazed
and fired again. For areas where they do not want any glaze, such as the
bottom of the pot, artisans paint on melted wax that will later burn off
in the kiln. They then pour on the liquid glaze and let it run over the
clay surface, making any kind of decorative pattern that they want.
The results of five-year breast-cancer-detection project indicate that
mammo- graphy, or breast X-raying, can detect very early cancers in
younger women as well as in those over 50, according to a report in Ca,
a journal of the American Cancer Society. Mammography detected nearly 90
percent of the 3,557 cancers uncovered through the project, which
involved annual X-rays and physical examinations of more than 280,000
women aged 35 to 74. Moreover, many of the lesions revealed by
mammography were very small cancers, previously shown to be curable in
up to 95 percent of cases.

It's the sort of behaviour that can make all the difference in a place of serious shortages.
Yet all this can change in an instant.
The fortunes of many deserts are ruled by distant rains.
This water fell as rain in mountains more than a hundred miles away.
It's known as a flash flood
and called that because the water may run for just a single day.
It's an event that only happens once or twice a year at the most.

You've gotta just keep thinking about the day that some kid is gonna run up to his friends and go 'I got the part! I got the part! I'm gonna be Joey Tribbiani's ass!'.

Where did you get this?
Wrong question.
The right question is how quickly can we get it up on the site?
I have to run this past Tom.
Let's get legal on this, make sure we're not breaking any laws.
You won't tell me your source?
I can't do that.
Fine. But if legal finds even one...

Y'all mind catchin' me up?

I don't think that's a good idea.
We can't be pouring money into a settlement

There was a D.N.C. meeting earlier this week.
About the governor's race.
Your name came up as someone we might want to run.
Everyone in that room wanted to cross you off the list.
I said no. I stuck up for you.
I said, "Peter Russo, he's got potential.
He's young. He's capable. He's going places."
I made them keep you in contention.

He said you're having some doubts.
I was just about to tell him that I decided not to run.
Okay. If you've made up your mind,
then I should probably get going.

- Where are we going now?
- Wasn't there a party at Lacy's?
- Anybody got a phone? I'll call.
- Yeah, I do.
- Um, I gotta go home.
- Why?
- My mother left five messages.
- Run home to Mommy.
Hey, her father just died, OK? Maybe her mother needs her.
Your father?
- Shut up.
- Whatever.
- I don't wanna go home.
We'll drop you off, OK?

- Excuse me.
- Let me call you back.
- You looking for something?
- Please, help us. These guys are after us.
- What guys?
- I'll pay whatever you want. Just get us out of here.
- Let's see the money.
- I don't have it on me right now.
But when you get us home, my parents will pay whatever you want.
Sorry, I run a cash-up-front business.

What's the big emergency, David? I thought we had a game plan.
We did. Until I found out my son lied to me.
That he's been lying to me for seven years.
What's going on?
Why would Maureen Kingsley run a story this big unless it were true?
Are you saying you believe her accusation about Keith?
I'm saying my son was involved in Gibson's death and you covered it up.
- Not only from the law, from me.
Someone altered the hospital records to make it look like Keith wasn't involved.
That could only have been you.
Look me in the eye...
and tell me what happened.

Good. Look I gotta run an errand. You'll be O.K. on your own?
You kiddin'. I'm fired up. Ready to go.
Besides there's an officer here.

Hold on.
James...
First couple days are going to be the toughest.
Here is my cell number.
You run into any problems
you call me.
I'll be right there. Alright?
Keep your head up.

I might have just blown up the case and all your giving me is it's very good?
If your family was murdered, wouldn't you run to them, check to see if they were alive?
Yeah.

Could you provide me with a list of your distributors?
I really don't have a list.
Why?
I was hoping I could do a credit card search,
go back ten days before the first murder occurred.
Maybe run some names. See if any "priors" pop up.
I would really love to help you, Mr. Grissom,
but...
I just don't keep track of all the individual purchases.
I'm just a wholesaler. I don't...
I don't crunch the numbers.
I just spook the children.
Of course you do.
I'm sure you do it well.

Okay, look it's gonna be sunrise in ten minutes.
We're going to have to do a run Lola run and play this in actual time.
Up until the point Captain Murdle escorted our dead guy back to his seat,
the events are substantiated by the flight log
and the eyewitness testimony. Unless anyone knows different?

I'm sorry, guys. If she cut up that jogger she didn't use that scalpel.
But we found evidence of blood on it.
I had Sanders run a degradation on that same sample.
The blood is 50 to 200 years old
antique, like the scalpel
ruling out the possibility it was used in the murder of our jogger.

Mom, the dish is clean.
Huh? Oh.
어? 어
I still don't understand why you don't just ask him out on an official date date.
Oh, I'm trying a new strategy. I'm playing hard to get.
How long do you think you can keep that up?
Oh, maybe until noon.
Then I'm going to have to run over there and beg him to love me.

Wow, this, uh, this guacamole has got a kick.
I'm going to run to the little girls' room.
You guys go ahead.
I might be a while.
I hate playing 3-handed poker. Let's take a break.
I'll play.
You play poker?
I used to play a little with my grandfather.
Pull up a chair.
Oh, I notice you're just playing for chips.
My grandfather used to say it's always more fun to play for money.
Why not? 50 cents a bet?
Make it a buck. 3-raise limit, $20 buy-in.
