ILO Survey Reveals Extent of Violence at Work

GENEVA (AFP) _ France, Argentina, Romania, Canada and England
have the highest reported rates of assault and sexual
harassment in the workplace, the International Labor
Organization (ILO) said Monday.
While violence in the workplace is a universal phenomenon,
certain jobs carry a higher risk, the ILO report says.

영국이 직장내 폭행과 성희롱 보고가 가장 많다고 국제노동기구
ILO가 월요일 전했다.
직장내 폭력은 보편적인 현상이지만 특정 직업에 더 높은 위험이
따른다고 ILO보고서는 밝혔다.

Other worst-hit countries were Argentina where six percent of
men and 12 percent of women were victims of violence and 16.6
percent of women sexually harassed, Romania (8.7 percent, 4.1
percent and 10.8 percent) and Canada (3.9 percent, five
percent and 9.7 percent).
In England and Wales 3.2 percent of men were victims, 6.3
percent of women and 8.6 percent of women faced sexual
harassment. Figures for the United States were one percent
for men, 4.2 percent for women and 5.3 percent of women
sexually harassed.

지난 달 인도를 방문한 해외여행객 중 콜레라균이 검출되어 올 해 첫 콜레라 해외유입 사례가 발생했으며, 2016년 루마니아에서 시작된 홍역은 프랑스, 이탈리아, 그리스, 우크라이나 등 유럽지역을 중심으로 지금까지 유행이 계속되고 있다.
Cholera bacteria were detected among overseas travelers who visited India last month, leading to the first case of cholera inflow this year, and measles, which began in Romania in 2016, has continued to be popular in Europe, including France, Italy, Greece and Ukraine.

주별로는 롬바르디아에서만 240명이 발생한 가운데 베네토 42명, 에밀리아-로마냐 26명, 피에몬테·라치오·시칠리아 각 3명, 토스카나 2명, 트렌티노-알토 아디제·리구리에서 1명이 발생했다.
By state, there were 240 people in Lombardia alone, 42 in Veneto, 26 in Emilia-Romania, three each in Pimente, Lazio and Sicily, two in Toscana, and one in Trentino-Alto Adije and Riguri.
