Libraries in at least fourteen states have banned the Harry Potter series written by J. K. Rowling.
Claiming that her books contain unnecessary violence and references to satanic worship,
several library officials and religious leaders have joined forces.

The potter uses one of the Earth's most basic materials, clay. Clay can
be found almost anywhere. Good pottery must be free from all small
stones and other hard materials that would make the potting process
difficult. Most North American artisan-potters now purchase commer-
cially processed clay, but some find the clay they need right in the
earth, close to where they work.
도공은 지구의 가장 기본적인 물질중의 하나인 진흙을 이용한다. 진흙은 거의
모든 곳에서 찾아볼 수 있다. 좋은 도기에는 도기 제작 과정을 어렵게 만드는

The most important tools potters use are their hands; however, they also
use wire loop tools, wooden modeling tools, plain wire, and sponges.
Plain wire is used to cut away the finished pot from its base on the
potter's wheel. After a finished pot is dried of all its moisture in the
open air, it is placed in a kiln and fired.
도공들이 사용하는 가장 중요한 도구는 그들의 손이다. 그러나 그들은 또한

은 물속에 빠져 있고,불만 켜놓으면 북새통을 이룬다. 심지어는 향유가 들어
있는 연고 속에까지 빠져 있게 된다. 「연고 속에 빠져 있는 날파리」라는
식의 'a fly in the ointment'라는 표현이 있는데,「옥에 티」라는 의미를
가진다.
Visitor:Again? Why are you breaking all the pots?
Potter:Every one of them has a fly in the ointment. I mean, a flaw.
Visitor:I can't see any flaws. I think every one of them is perfect.

Potter:That would sell myself cheap. This pot isn't good enough, eit
her.
