Our personal distance allows us to stay protected and untouched by others.
In personal distance, we can touch each other by extending our arms.
At this distance we can see many of the fine details of an individual―the gray hairs, tooth stain, the shape of eyebrows, and so on.
However, it is hard to detect body heat.
At times we may detect the smell of one's breath,
but generally at this distance etiquette demands that we direct our breath to some neutral corner so as not to offend.

In a large urban area, there are some good reasons for owning a car.

Stack up / Stock up
Right after the news on the riot that just began to sweep the
Southern part of the country, many people rushed to the
nearby markets to stack up on daily necessitites.
There is a
stack of books (or CDs) piledagainst the wall. 또는 There are
books stacked against the wall.
against 또는 stack up against와 같이 표현합니다.
따라서 stack up on cigarettes은 담배를 많이 사 두는 것이고
마찬가지로stack up on ramyons은 지난 번 전쟁 가능성이
따라서 stack up on ~이나 stock up on ~이나 같다고 할 수
The company stacked up on semi-conductor
chips라 하나 Thecompany stocked up on semi-conductor chips라
I have many new home appliances in stock.
I have stacked up many new home appliances in the storage.
Stock up on ~과 같이 stock을 동사로 쓴 경우 말고 명사로
They have laid in a stock of wheat.
와 같이 lay in a stock of
a corner in ~ 또는 establish a corner in ~과 같이 됩니다.
사두는 것 (store up beyond one's present or reasonable

Amid widespread concerns over the new coronavirus infection, those who corner and hoard masks and hand sanitizers will face up to two years in prison or up to KRW 50 million in fines starting on the 5th.

-A numeral on the lower right corner of the front printed in
color-shifting ink that looks green when viewed straight on and black
when view from an angle is part of the new $10 bill. This feature isn't
on the new $5. It's currently included on new $20, $50 and $100 bills.

On the new $10 bill, the microprinted word ``Ten'' is continually
repeated in the numeral in the lower left-hand corner and the
microprinted words ``United States of America'' are repeated just above
Hamilton's name. Microprinting appears as a thin line to the naked eye
and blurred when copied.
